Twins are born to a noble family -- Mathilde and Giselle, the Sisters Grey. For centuries, the Greys have protected the ruler of Mitteleuropa, but this is a different time -- it is the dawn of the Industrial Age and a great war rages. When the Kaiser is found dead, Giselle is accused of his murder. Pursued by her sisters and hunted by the enemy, Giselle must unravel the prophecy of the Carbon Grey before history itself is rewritten. Collecting the complete CARBON GREY graphic novel series by Hoang Nguyen, Paul Gardner, Khari Evans, and Kinsun Loh, this 304-page omnibus has been re-edited and remastered to tell the entire saga of the Sisters Grey in a new edition designed to open the doors for an expanded universe through tabletop role-playing and other planned supplemental releases.

The essential multidisciplinary guide for the prevention and management of vascular injury from master skull base surgeons Vascular injury is the most significant source of morbidity or mortality during skull base surgery, regardless of the surgical approach. While skull base approaches always placed arteries and veins at risk, newer endoscopic endonasal approaches have introduced new challenges for the prevention and management of vascular injury. Greater anatomic knowledge, additional surgical options, improved instrumentation, advances in interventional neuroradiology, and enhanced training all contribute to successful outcomes. Vascular Challenges in Skull Base Surgery by renowned skull base experts Paul Gardner, Carl Snyderman, Brian Jankowitz, and distinguished contributors, fills a gap in the literature, with invaluable guidance on managing rare but potentially catastrophic surgical complications. The full range of surgical approaches to the anterior, middle, and posterior cranial fossae are covered in 22 chapters. Diverse topics encompass open and endoscopic endonasal surgical approaches, endovascular techniques including balloon test occlusion and embolization, and standard and alternative bypass procedures. The last three chapters discuss venous considerations, neurophysiologic monitoring, and the role of training and simulation in vascular injury prevention. Key learning points, illustrated discussion of relevant anatomy, and tips and tricks are targeted at helping skull base surgeons leverage practical strategies to improve patient outcomes. Key Highlights An impressive group of expert, highly-experienced surgeons share firsthand knowledgeInsightful analyses of root causes and clinical pearls provide indispensable prevention tacticsHigh-quality images and videos enhance visual understanding of surgical anatomy and techniquesTrainees and practicing skull base surgeons will greatly benefit from the collective knowledge and evidence-based injury avoidance strategies shared by authors who have learned to master the art of skull base surgery. 1 Peter addresses Christians who have known suffering and persecution to a degree that we will never know. In 2 Peter, Peter was very concerned that those who deny Christ's return should be withstood and that the church could be confident that Christ has not abandoned them. The theme of Jude is similar and also points Christians towards the evidence of believers who heard Jesus speak, to enable them 'to fight on for the faith which once and for all God has given to his people'.

Revelation: The Compassion and Protection of Christ

It is ironical that a book called ‘the revelation’ remains probably the most obscure of all the books of the Bible. Many Christians have never ventured further than the first 3 chapters and others have studied its intricacies and the split churches that resulted wished that they hadn’t! For those who already love the book of Revelation this commentary will take you a little deeper and stimulate thinking about how the teaching should be applied to the modern church. Paul Gardner is also the author of Ephesians: Encouragement and Joy in Christ (ISBN 978–1–84550–264–5) and 1&2 Peter and Jude (ISBN 978–1–78191–129–7)in the Focus on the Bible commentary series.
