Animation is one of the fastest growing mediums in the film and television world – whether it’s Frozen or Paw Patrol, Family Guy or Rick and Morty. This book is the definitive guide to storytelling for writers, directors, storyboard artists and animators. Suitable for both the student and the professional, it provides indispensable knowledge on the entire process of writing for animated movies, TV series and short films. The reader will be provided with all the tools necessary to produce professional quality scripts that will start, or further, their career in animation. Beginning with the fundamentals of ‘why animation?’ this book will lead the reader through a series of principles that will raise the level of their storytelling. These principles are tried and tested on a daily basis by the authors who have a twenty-year track record in the animation industry. Many people are trying to break into the world of writing for animation and a lot of the people who are ‘already in’ would like to get more work. The reality is that writing for animation is a very specific craft that can be learnt like any other craft. This book will give the reader both the basic and advanced techniques that will put them ahead of the rest of the field.

Transport Nodal System provides a comprehensive introduction to the development of transport nodes and nodal systems, focusing on economic, operational, management, planning, policy, regulation and sustainability perspectives. Through a deep analysis on different types of transport nodes from diverse perspectives, this book shows the major issues and challenges that transport node planners, managers, and policymakers face, and how to address them. The book provides a clear framework for identifying the common attributes across all nodes that contribute to the efficient operations, planning, and management of transport facilities. Transport nodes such as seaports, inland terminals, airports, highways, and railroads are hubs in a multimodal transportation network that facilitate the smooth operation of passengers and freight. The book uniquely uses the transport node itself rather than a specific type of structure for a specific type of transport mode as the primary focus of analysis. While stressing the importance of transport nodes in developing efficient logistics and supply chains, the book also demonstrates that transport nodes are geographically embedded within a particular location, and that operations are inevitably affected by local factors, such as culture, the economy, the political and regulatory environment and other institutions.

A Portrait of the Holy Spirit

A Portrait of the Holy Spirit

God the Father is in the dimension of heaven with God the Son. God the Holy Spirit is in this world where he is busy interacting with people and events to build the Body of Christ. {Church}Decades ago "out of body experiences" were not discussed. In recent years that has changed. Books have been written which picture frightening scenes of hell. Other books picture glorious scenes of heaven. The subject of this book is mainly the Holy Spirit but it also describes an out of body experience. Nearly forty years ago I was in the Minneapolis auditorium attending a conference on the Holy Spirit. Then in a WHOOSH I was transported hundreds of feet above the crowd where I was deposited on the "lap" of a very large person. {More fully described in the text} When I was returned to my seat I was shaken by the experience. I was also impressed by the large size of the person. While writing this book I returned in my memory and discovered an overlooked fact. It was his clothing. When it was revealed to me by the Spirit I began to weep. I realized the clothing displayed his humble nature. It was not a "train which filled the Temple" or other magnificent clothing. He was clothed in sack cloth. The great I AM on whose lap I sat was dressed in "sack cloth "
