The Svea Court of Appeal, founded in Stockholm in 1614, represented a new type of a superior royal tribunal in early modern Sweden. While the first century of the Court has merited scholarly attention before this, fresh insights have been gained by asking new questions, using comparative methods and rereading the sources. This volume contains ten essays and a concluding chapter. They shed new light on the Svea Court of Appeal making law, personifying justice and forming part of the power structures of Sweden. The essays also highlight the legal actors: king, judges, litigants and mag­istrates of Stockholm. The volume reinterprets the founding and role of the Court as well as it provides new perspectives on its activity.

I stället för att fastna i teknikoptimism erbjuder Implementering av AI i hälso- och sjukvården en fördjupad och tvärvetenskaplig analys av denna omställning. Boken visar hur AI förändrar vårdens praktik, omfördelar ansvar och utmanar etablerade professionella roller. AI diskuteras som en drivkraft i omställningen mot informationsdriven och personcentrerad vård. Genom att integrera olika perspektiv, såsom medicinska, omvårdnads­vetenskapliga, tekniska, etiska och implementerings­vetenskapliga, synliggörs hur AI påverkar såväl kliniska beslut som styrning, professionella gränser och relationen mellan vårdpersonal och patient. Boken visar hur vården kan utveckla evidensbaserad praktik, genomföra strukturerad och hållbar implementering och omsätta etiska principer i en AI-stödd praktik. AI framställs varken som en ersättare eller frälsare, utan som en socioteknisk praktik vars värde formas av vårdens professionella och organisatoriska kontext. Implementering av AI i hälso- och sjukvården vänder sig till forskare, besluts­fattare, vårdprofessioner och studenter inom medicin, vårdvetenskap, hälsoteknik och hälsoinnovation - men också till alla som vill förstå hur AI formar framtidens vård.

The Stooges were formed in 1967 in Ann Arbor, outside Detroit. They created three classic albums between 1969 and 1973: The Stooges, Fun House and Raw Power. Despite a lack of commercial success, the band attracted a small, devoted following and laid a musical foundation that would influence generations of artists. The Stooges' music was raw, primal, exciting, and the unique, but it was the compelling stage presence of the band's singer, Iggy Pop, that made them legendary. Stooges' performances were unpredictable, with the singer inciting audiences to react and making it impossible for them to remain complacent. He was passionate, fearless and, at times, expressed himself in genuinely frightening ways, performing self-mutilation, stage dives, crowd surfing and rushing into the audience to confront hecklers or spontaneously interact with anyone offstage who struck his fancy. Iggy tore down the barriers that traditionally existed between audience and performer, forcing the audience to become part of the overall performance. But by 1974, he was locked into an orbit of self-annihilation and drug abuse which led, ultimately, to the demise of the band in February of that year. This book explores, in depth, all the concerts the Stooges played 1967-74, bringing the live experience to life through eyewitness accounts, press reports and other source materials, to present an unprecedented account of the Stooges' performances during this period.

The internationalization and globalization of the law has been one of the greatest challenges to the modern nation state. The Maastricht Treaty of 1992 emphasized the diversities of the member states in the EU regarding language, history and culture. In late modern jurisprudence the disciplines legal history and comparative law, representing the perspectives of time and space within the law, have increasingly interacted towards a merge. In Europe as well as in the U. S. the field of comparative legal history has been introduced in the curriculum at many law schools, and the need is great for theoretical and methodological discourses and for class material in this field. The legal historians at the Faculty of Law at Lund University Sweden arranged in 2009 together with European and American colleagues an international workshop on the topic How to Teach European Comparative Legal History. The papers at this workshop are published in this volume. It not only gives interesting theoretical perspectives. It also contributes to the description of the state of art of this expanding and dynamic discipline within the law. Participants at the meeting at Lund met in June 2010 in Valencia Spain to inaugurate the European Society for Comparative Legal History (ESCLH).
