The high prevalence of MSDs in porters has important occupational health implications. Workers in the informal sector, such as porters, often lack access to ergonomic interventions, health awareness programs, or medical support. Unlike industrial laborers, they do not benefit from workplace safety regulations or formal occupational health policies. Preventive strategies such as load management, provision of mechanical aids (e.g., trolleys or lifting devices), ergonomics-based training, and health education could significantly reduce their burden of MSDs. In addition, periodic physiotherapy camps, regular screening, and simple stretching/strengthening exercises can help improve musculoskeletal health and prolong work capacity.

Onion (Allium cepa L.) is one of the most important commercial vegetable crop cultivated extensively in India and it belongs to family Alliaceae. Onion is considered to be the second most important vegetable crop grown in the world after tomato. Approximately 170 countries grow onion for its own domestic use and it is also involved in international trade. In view of the imperative of adequate research on effect of saline irrigation on onion varieties, thus, the research was carried out at Department of Agricultural Chemistry & Soil Science, College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, Gujarat, India during rabi season of 2017-18.

Development and validation of simple, precise, accurate, economical and sensitive HPLC assay method for the estimation of Cefixime and Linezolid in tablet dosage form. A chromatographic separation was achieved with a Hypersil BDS C18 (250mm,4.6mm,5 m) analytical column. A Mixture of Phosphate Buffer (3.0 pH): methanol (40:60, v/v) was used as the mobile phase, at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min and detector wavelength at 277 nm. The retention time of Cefixime and linezolid was found to be 3.76 and 6.55 min respectively. Theoretical plates was 6896 and 4626 respectively and Tailing factor was 1.32 and 1.28. The linear ranges was 5-15 for cefixime and 15-45 μg/ml for linezolid, and the correlation coefficient was 0.999 for both drugs. The relative standard deviation was found to be less than 2%. A simple, precise, accurate, economical and sensitive HPLC assay method have been developed and validated for the estimation of Cefixime and linezolid in tablet dosage form. All method validation parameters lie within its acceptance crieteria as per ICH Q2(R1) guideline.
