The world is facing with dual crises called "environmental degradation" and "fossil fuel depletion". The aim of this study is to emphasize on properties, advantages, disadvantages, extraction and production methods of biodiesel. In addition, some new feedstock along with future scope of biodiesel is also described. So, that this book could become the torch bearer for the futuristic researchers working in the area of alternate energy resource.

Gas turbine combustor technology has developed gradually and continuously over the last 50 years. The close resemblance between various gas turbine combustors evolves from the basic need that is dictated largely by the length and frontal area to remain within the limits set by other engine components and incorporation of a diffuser (to minimize pressure loss) and liner (to provide stable operation over a wide range of air/fuel ratios). Despite the continued advances in gas turbine combustor technology, the challenge which a combustion engineer faces today to ingenuity in design is greater than ever before. Interest in the environment by scientists and the general public has evolved from the gradual deterioration in our air quality and the discovery of the Antarctic ozone hole, in addition to hot summers, greenhouse effect and increased smog in the cities. In addition, the energy conservation and higher conversion efficiencies remain on the priority list.

भारत में 1 जुलाई, 2017 से GST लागू हो गया है। जीएसटी (GST), भारत के कर ढांचे में सुधार का एक बहुत बड़ा कदम है। वस्तु एवं सेवा कर (Goods and Service Tax) एक अप्रत्यक्ष कर कानून है, (Indirect Tax) है। जीएसटी एक एकीकृत कर है, जो वस्तुओं और सेवाओं दोनों पर लगेगा। जीएसटी लागू होने से पूरा देश, एकीकृत बाजार में तब्दील हो जाएगा और ज्यादातर अप्रत्यक्ष कर, जैसे-केंद्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क (Excise), सेवा कर (Service Tax), वैट (Vat), मनोरंजन, विलासिता, लॉटरी टैक्स आदि जीएसटी में समाहित हो जाएंगे। इससे पूरे भारत में एक ही प्रकार का अप्रत्यक्ष कर लगेगा। यह पुस्तक एक आम पाठक से लेकर प्रत्येक करदाता के लिए एक मार्गदर्शिका का काम करेगी, जो उनके सामने आने वाली तमाम तकनीकी और व्यावहारिक समस्याओं का समाधान करेगी।

Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) was notified on September 7, 2005 and came into force from February 2, 2006. It is the world's biggest employment guarantee programme and aims at enhancing livelihood security of households in rural areas of the country by providing 100 days of guaranteed wage employment in a financial year to every household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work. Its primary objective is to augment wage employment and strengthen natural resource management. The act was notified in 200 districts in the first phase with effect from February 2, 2006 and then extended to 130 more districts in the financial year 2007-08 (113 districts were notified with effect from April 1 2007, and 17 districts in UP were notified with effect from May 15 2007). The remaining districts have been notified under the MGNREGA with effect from April 1, 2008. Thus MGNREGA covers the entire country with the exception of districts that have a hundred percent urban population.
