Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) foi notificada a 7 de Setembro de 2005 e entrou em vigor a partir de 2 de Fevereiro de 2006. o maior programa de garantia de emprego do mundo e tem como objectivo aumentar a seguran a de subsist ncia dos agregados familiares nas zonas rurais do pa s, fornecendo 100 dias de emprego assalariado garantido num ano financeiro a cada agregado familiar cujos membros adultos se voluntariem para fazer trabalho manual n o qualificado. O seu principal objectivo aumentar o emprego assalariado e refor ar a gest o dos recursos naturais. O acto foi notificado em 200 distritos na primeira fase, com efeito a partir de 2 de Fevereiro de 2006, e depois alargado a mais 130 distritos no ano financeiro 2007-08 (113 distritos foram notificados com efeito a partir de 1 de Abril de 2007, e 17 distritos em UP foram notificados com efeito a partir de 15 de Maio de 2007). Os restantes distritos foram notificados ao abrigo do MGNREGA, com efeitos a partir de 1 de Abril de 2008. Assim, o MGNREGA abrange todo o pa s, com excep o dos distritos que t m uma popula o cem por cento urbana.

Es ist das gr te Besch ftigungsgarantieprogramm der Welt und zielt darauf ab, die Existenzsicherung der Haushalte in den l ndlichen Gebieten des Landes zu verbessern, indem jedem Haushalt, dessen erwachsene Mitglieder sich freiwillig f r ungelernte manuelle Arbeit zur Verf gung stellen, 100 Tage garantierte Besch ftigung in einem Haushaltsjahr gew hrt werden. Hauptziel ist es, die Lohnbesch ftigung zu erh hen und die Bewirtschaftung der nat rlichen Ressourcen zu st rken. Das Gesetz wurde in der ersten Phase mit Wirkung vom 2. Februar 2006 in 200 Distrikten notifiziert und dann im Haushaltsjahr 2007-08 auf 130 weitere Distrikte ausgeweitet (113 Distrikte wurden mit Wirkung vom 1. April 2007 notifiziert, 17 Distrikte in UP mit Wirkung vom 15. Mai 2007). Die brigen Bezirke wurden mit Wirkung vom 1. April 2008 im Rahmen des MGNREGA notifiziert. Somit deckt MGNREGA das gesamte Land ab, mit Ausnahme der Bezirke, die zu hundert Prozent aus Stadtbewohnern bestehen.

La loi a t notifi e dans 200 districts au cours de la premi re phase, avec effet au 2 f vrier 2006, puis tendue 130 districts suppl mentaires au cours de l'exercice 2007-2008 (113 districts ont t notifi s avec effet au 1er avril 2007, et 17 districts de l'UP ont t notifi s avec effet au 15 mai 2007). Les districts restants ont t notifi s dans le cadre du MGNREGA avec effet au 1er avril 2008. Ainsi, le MGNREGA couvre l'ensemble du pays, l'exception des districts dont la population est 100 % urbaine.

La legge stata notificata in 200 distretti nella prima fase con effetto dal 2 febbraio 2006 e poi estesa ad altri 130 distretti nell'anno finanziario 2007-08 (113 distretti sono stati notificati con effetto dal 1 aprile 2007 e 17 distretti in UP sono stati notificati con effetto dal 15 maggio 2007). I restanti distretti sono stati notificati nell'ambito del MGNREGA con effetto dal 1 aprile 2008. Il MGNREGA copre quindi l'intero Paese, con l'eccezione dei distretti che hanno il 100% di popolazione urbana.
