The "Heavenly Citizens" series serves as a tool to help the Christian understand not only what the Bible teaches us, but also how to study the Bible. Explaining what the Bible teaches is like giving someone a fish to eat. Teaching him how to study the Bible is like teaching someone how to fish so he can feed himself. Both approaches are essential to developing spiritual maturity." Romans" is the ninth volume in the "Heavenly Citizens" series. Romans begins by jumping right into the fray. Paul never was one to dilly dally around. The reality of sin in the world is presented in all its stark hideousness. Then Paul shows how sin infects both Jews and Gentiles alike. What with man's sin-infested condition, the need for a Savior is evident. Sin sets man at war with God and His righteousness. Sin demands the death of the sinner, hence the need for a Savior if man is to live. Voil Entre Messiah Jesus (aka Jesus Christ). Man can have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Man also receives the Holy Spirit, the new life of Christ in us, the hope of glory. By living according to the Word of God in the power of the Spirit, born again man can maintain his newfound relationship with God. Do the Jews still obey the Law of Moses, in order to have a relationship with God? And what is the Church's relationship to the Jews? In chapters 9-11 Paul reveals that Biblical mystery and answers the questions fully. You will likely be surprised by the Spirit's revelation of this mystery. In chapters 12-16 Paul concludes his "Letter to the Romans" by applying the spiritual truths taught in the first eleven chapters. First he taught us who we are, and then he taught us what this means for our daily living. Great stuff, this You won't want to miss out on even one small bite of the spiritual nutriment. So come on in, take off your shoes, and bow before the throne of grace with us, as we devour all the victuals of this godly feast. The approach for "Romans", and for every volume in the "Heavenly Citizens" series, is to teach the student the meaning of Scripture. We also teach him or her how to study the Bible on his/her own. We do this in two ways: we provide a few rules by which to govern our Bible study, and we demonstrate by example how to study the Bible. Experience is an outstanding teacher. In our books we practice the rules for Bible study. By walking through the Bible with us, the reader experiences firsthand what our method of study is like. We believe the student will come out of our studies with both an understanding of the Bible and the ability to truthfully understand the Bible on his/her own. The path lies before you. Walk through the gate and join the journey with us And may the blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ be yours in abundance.

Acts begins with Messiah Jesus' command to His disciples to stay in Jerusalem until they were baptized with the Holy Spirit. Then Jesus ascended into heaven. Ten days later Pentecost occurred and... Well, that information is available in the exposition we provide in our four volume set on the "Book of Acts". What is the Church? What was it created to be? What role did Peter and Paul have in this? What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? What is "speaking in tongues" and does it still hold relevance today? Where is Jesus, and will we ever see Him again? Those great questions, and many more, are answered inside the covers of our four volume set on the "Book of Acts". You mustn't miss out on the wholesome spiritual nourishment Before we exit through the back cover, we will travel throughout the Promised Land. Then we will turn north and enter Syria, sail to Cyprus and Asia Minor, cross into Europe and visit Greece, and even end up in Rome, Italy. Wow What travel agency can top that? Explaining what the Bible teaches is like giving someone a fish to eat. Teaching him how to study the Bible is like teaching someone how to fish so he can feed himself. Both approaches are essential to developing spiritual maturity." Matthew" is the seventh volume in the "Heavenly Citizens" series. Matthew, a Jew, was hated as a tax collector for the Roman imperialists. This didn't stop Messiah Jesus from calling Matthew to be one of His disciples and even an apostle Jesus was good at doing unconventional things like that. In this book we make note of a good many suchlike surprises on Jesus' part. Did you know that Jesus' ancestors included some unsavory sorts? Did you know that the religious bigwigs of Jesus' day considered Him to be of questionable character? Don't miss out on those details and much more. Enter through the front book cover and begin your trek through 1st Century Israel. Roman soldiers line the roads and avenues, fig trees are plentiful, and a gorgeous view of the Sea of Galilee and numerous fishermen make for a relaxing view. Jesus is a fantastic story teller. We know His stories as "parables", and He has not a few to tell in this book. Oh, and interpreting them is exciting too Before we exit through the back cover though, we will have to pass a hill known as "The Skull" and mourn over three crosses and the outrageous injustice done there. Not to fret though. Three days later a sealed tomb is unsealed, only to discover that a dead body is no longer in it. Truth be told, the dead body is no longer dead Wow The approach for "Matthew" and for every volume in the "Heavenly Citizens" series is to teach the student the meaning of Scripture. We practice in our books the rules for Bible study.

The "Heavenly Citizens" series serves as a tool to help the Christian understand not only what the Bible teaches us, but also how to study the Bible. Explaining what the Bible teaches is like giving someone a fish to eat. Teaching how to study the Bible is like teaching someone how to fish so they can feed themselves. Both approaches are essential to developing spiritual maturity." Deuteronomy" is the fifth volume in the "Heavenly Citizens" series. In this book Moses expounded the Law of Moses (Torah) a second time, and for a very good reason. The older generation wandered the wilderness for forty years until they all died The younger generation then entered the Promised Land and conquered it, but not before they were presented with God's Law for ruling them while they lived in that land. We have the pleasure to learn what the Law of Moses meant to the Israelites (the context). From that context we draw principles behind the Law, and then we apply those principles to Christian living today. That is the approach for "Deuteronomy" and for every volume in the "Heavenly Citizens" series. We teach the student the meaning of Scripture and we teach him or her how to study the Bible on his/her own. We do this in two ways: we provide a few rules by which to govern our Bible study, and we demonstrate by example how to study the Bible. Experience is an outstanding teacher. Explaining what the Bible teaches is like giving someone a fish to eat. Teaching how to study the Bible is like teaching someone how to fish so they can feed themselves. Both approaches are essential to developing spiritual maturity." Leviticus" is the third volume in the "Heavenly Citizens" series. In this book Moses ordained and installed the priests into office as the Lord's ministers for the Israelites. The priests were instructed in the proper procedure for presenting to the Lord each type of offering on the bronze altar. The priests also learned how to diagnose leprosy and all types of ritual uncleanness, and to serve as the Lord's physicians in treating those Israelites who suffered any such cases. Additionally the Lord presented the Israelites with an annual calendar of holidays. All of this teaching served as miniature picture stories of hidden spiritual truth. We have the pleasure to study those picture stories (the context). From that context we draw out the principles of hidden spiritual truth, and then we apply those principles to Christian living today. That is the approach for "Leviticus" and for every volume in the "Heavenly Citizens" series.
