Christ loves the church with an infinite, eternal love that is beyond our comprehension. Unfortunately, the church often doesn't function the way Christ intended. Many Christians fail to understand that God's ways are not their ways (Isaiah 55:8-9) and when we attempt to do God's work the world's way, the results are dissatisfying and even damaging. When a church seeks a new pastor, they stand at a crossroads. How that decision is handled will determine the church's future. This guide was written to help you seek your next pastor in ways that will both protect the health of the church and give great hope and blessing for the future

Recent studies indicate more than 65% of children who grow up attending church will walk away from their faith before graduating from college. Few in contemporary culture will stand and applaud parents and grandparents who choose to live according to eternal truths and principles. When your time on earth ends, your degrees, positions of service, and recognitions will be meaningless. Your legacy will be evident not by your personal accomplishments but by your investment in others. God stands ready to join you in a covenant for the next generations of your family. With His enabling presence and power, it is never too late to leave a legacy that honors Him and blesses your children from generation to generation
