Beyond the Arctic Circle, in the freezing cold and never-ending night, the Mounties do their duty and try to resist the creeping assaults of madness and depression. One evening,Trent, alone at his remote outpost, hears a call for help. He finds a couple of Natives, dead of exposure, along with ... a very much alive baby! Reluctantly turned into a polar nurse, the sergeant must leave his shelter - unequipped to cater to its new occupant - to find her a new family...

While escorting a prisoner, Trent stops in a very animated small town: the famous Wild Bill Turkey is passing through on his way to his bride. Bill is a legend among gunfighters of the Old West. An aging one, yes, but that doesn't prevent him from coming to the Mountie's help when a group of men try to free his prisoner. A powerful man is behind that attempt, though, and both Trent and Bill suddenly become targets.

Trent's superior tasks him with helping a lady who came to the police to report the disappearance of her husband. The sergeant is stunned to discover the woman he is still in love with: Agnes. Her husband is the manager of a railway construction site far to the northwest, and he hasn't been heard from in weeks. Worse, his last letters spoke of a mysterious danger threatening the camp. The pair go to investigate...

Viisikymmenluvun lopun Brysseliin sijoittuva jännityssarja Robert Sax kertoo toimeliaasta nuoresta herrasta, joka on perinyt isältään autokorjaamon. Hän on luonnoltaan huoleton hienostelija ja vapaa leskimies. Korjaamon työnjohtajan ja mekaanikon tehtäviä enemmän Robertia kiinnostavat seikkailut sekä divaria pitävän ystävän Boonin kanssa pohditut arvoitukset kansainvälisen kaupungin varjoissa. Satojen sarjakuvakäsikirjoitusten mies Rodolphe (Jacquette) on juuri 70 vuotta täyttänyt ranskalainen työmyyrä. Hän aloitti vuonna 2015 Robert Saxin hiukan nuoremman, Marokossa syntyneen maanmiehensä Louis Alloingin kanssa. Tyylilajin esikuvaksi he ottivat Blake & Mortimer -sarjakuvan tekijän, brysseliläisen Edgar P. Jacobsin, jonka kuvitetun elämäkerran La Marque Jacobs (2012) kaksikko oli vähän aiemmin julkaissut. Robert Sax liikkuu tyylikkäästi Jacobsin 50-luvun kotikaduilla. Seikkailujen käsikirjoitukset ovat tuoreella tavalla vanhahtavat, piirrostapa on tarkka, selkeä ja voimakasviivainen. Robert Saxin kolmas selkkaus Villa Borg tapahtuu pohjoisen Belgian tuulisella rannikolla, ja sitä pohjustavat rannalta löytynyt SS-tatuoidun miehen ruumis sekä kaukana Etelänapamantereella käynnissä oleva uraanivehkeily. Kaunis CIA:n erikoistoimien agentti, majuri Carol Barlow, palaa kuvioihin ja viettelee Robertin mukaansa tehtävään, jossa Sax esittää reportterin avio- ja kameramiehen roolia. Suunnitelmana on ottaa selvää komean rantahuvilan hämäräperäisen isännän William Borgin motiiveista ja yhteyksistä outoon kuolemantapaukseen. Lemmekästä rantamatkaa toivonut Robert joutuu Carolin mukana sangen koleaan kyytiin.
