Vascular lesions are localized structural defects of the vasculature. The clinical presentation of vascular anomalies is confusing because all lesions appear in similar color spectrum of blue, pink, and red. Vascular malformations are the developmental anomalies of the vascular origin. They are the vasoformative lesions that result from anomalous development of vascular plexus congenitally. Some vascular malformations are obvious, while others manifest later in life as they grow commensurately with the patient.

This prospective study designed to evaluate the to assess efficacy of serum C-reactive protein & WBC level as monitoring tools for patients with fascial space infections of odontogenic origin. It was conducted on 25 patients reporting to Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at PDM Dental College and Research Institute, Bahadurgarh for management of fascial space infection of odontogenic origin. All patients meeting the inclusion criteria and none of the exclusion criteria were enrolled in the study after taking their voluntary informed consent.
