La chirurgia minimamente invasiva deve essere considerata una vera e propria realt nella chirurgia rigenerativa parodontale. Diversi studi clinici hanno dimostrato la sua efficacia e prevedibilit nel trattamento dei difetti intraossei. L'efficacia clinica costantemente associata a una morbilit molto bassa sia durante l'intervento che nel periodo di guarigione post-operatorio. Le tecniche chirurgiche minimamente invasive richiedono una formazione specifica e l'uso di strumenti e materiali dedicati per essere applicate con successo al trattamento dei difetti intraossei.

Die minimalinvasive Chirurgie muss als echte Realit t in der regenerativen Parodontalchirurgie angesehen werden. Mehrere klinische Studien haben ihre Wirksamkeit und Vorhersagbarkeit bei der Behandlung von intraoss ren Defekten gezeigt. Die klinische Wirksamkeit ist durchweg mit einer sehr geringen Morbidit t sowohl w hrend des Eingriffs als auch in der postoperativen Heilungsphase verbunden. Die minimalinvasiven chirurgischen Techniken erfordern eine spezielle Ausbildung und die Verwendung spezieller Instrumente und Materialien, um bei der Behandlung von intraoss ren Defekten erfolgreich eingesetzt werden zu k nnen.

The ultimate goal of any treatment modality is resolution of the disease with regeneration of the lost tissues, if possible producing minimum post-operative morbidity. Minimally invasive surgery is one such treatment modality that is giving promising results in terms of reduced surgical trauma, increased wound stability, excellent primary closure of the wound with minimal patient's discomfort and side effects. Minimally invasive surgery has to be considered a true reality in periodontal regenerative surgery. Several clinical trials have shown its efficacy and predictability in the treatment of intrabony defects. The clinical efficacy is consistently associated with a very low morbidity both during surgery and in the post-operative healing period. The minimally invasive surgical techniques require a specific training and the use of dedicated instruments and materials to be successfully applied to the treatment of intrabony defects.
