Dillon and Rouge are back for one of the strangest and deadliest cases to date. When Dillon's friend, Detective Garcia contacts him after a series of murders, Dillon and Rouge are thrusted into the middle of a bizarre puzzle. Bodies have been found in different parts of the city looking like mummified corpses, all the fluids drained from them. Dillon believes it has to be some sort of monster or alien-a type he is unaware of that resembles the stories of vampires on Earth. Or could it be the legends in books and movies are based on some sort of Earthbound creature that is now roaming the city, killing people at random? As Dillon and Rouge follow the trail of death, meeting with old friends along the way, they find something far stranger than they could ever imagine. Something vicious and hungry that threatens to destroy their entire world.

The hunters have become the hunted, and heads are going to roll. There is a killer in the city, and men are being found in a state of undress, with their heads missing. Detective Garcia knows the only person who can help him with the bizarre circumstances of the case is his old friend, Dillon the Monster Dick. The only problem is, after a run in with Don Parks, a fellow hunter, Dillon and Rouge are doing their best to lay low and keep off the radar. As more bodies pop up around the city, Dillon realizes he can't hide forever and agrees to help Garcia solve the murders. The three of them take to the street in search of answers. They check every shadowy place, look under every rock, and eventually find the answers they want, and so much more. From sex dolls, to demons, to wigs that are alive, Head's, You Lose will take you on a strange ride through the world of a monster hunter.

From the author of At the Gates of Madness and Dark Reaches comes the latest collection of horror from Canadian author Shaun Meeks. There is a show people are dying to see. It's an exclusive ticket, by invitation only, but those who get to see it, will soon forget all that happens on stage as madness fills them. In the streets of White Chapel, death has come knocking. One man doesn't hate the violence and the death. He has grown to loathe the city for so long, watched it swell with depravity and loose morals. To him, the wave of death has given him hope, and inspires him. Years ago, a city of monsters was brought to an end by a madman with a lust for blood and a zippered mouth. Now, Kaleb hears the cries of those lost, looking for a place to call home, a new Midian. Yet, as Kaleb follows the voices, listening to the whispers on the wind, he finds a place where the real monsters live. Enter a world of monsters, ghosts, and killers. Fourteen tales of horror and suspense, born from Nightmares, making dreams come true.

Everyone's favorite Monster Dick is back, but the hunt has changed. After a video of Dillon fighting a monster goes viral, the hunter's world gets turned upside down. He's become a celebrity of sorts, but he's also garnered the attention of his higher ups, the Collective. As his actions are put under a microscope and every move he makes is being watched and judged, Dillon heads to Niagara Falls to help a realtor who claims he's being haunted by something unearthly. As Dillon looks into the case, questions of reality and madness, truth and lies fly at him from every direction. Now Dillon isn't just hunting monsters, but is forced to search for the truth, his own sanity, and an outcome that will allow him to stay on Earth with Rouge Hills.

Around the city, kids are going missing and the police are at their wits end to come up with any sort of clue as to who or what might be involved. Despite his beliefs, the lead detective involved listens to a friend and contacts Dillon, someone claiming to be a monster hunter. Dillon listens to what the detective says and agrees to help. Lucky for them. Not so lucky for Dillon. While he's normally game to hunt down any strange creature that might've found their way to this world - even a giant Hellion bent on consuming the planet - he is unprepared for what lies in wait for him. Despite how strange his job is, there are still rules even a monster detective must follow, but to ignore the situation might only put more innocent lives at risk. Unable to ignore his feeling of duty, Dillon forgoes the rules and joins forces with the detective and an old friend to find the monster who is stealing kids and the master who is controlling it. From the author of The Gate at Lake Drive, Maymon and Dark Reaches comes the second book in the Dillon the Monster Dick series.
