Post Qualitative Inquiry: Texts and Lectures by Elizabeth A. St. Pierre brings together a curated selection of writings and public lectures by Elizabeth Adams St. Pierre, whose work has shaped and energised the international conversation on post qualitative inquiry. Developed alongside the landmark Post Qualitative Inquiry Lecture Series featuring St. Pierre at the University of Georgia (2024–2025), this collection offers an archival record of a rare scholarly event that convened more than 400 participants from over 30 countries, alongside leading international guests whose work intersects with poststructural, feminist, posthumanist, and new materialist approaches to inquiry. Organised around six key publications chosen by St. Pierre as representative touchstones of the field, the book pairs each text with its corresponding lecture, and with introductions by Stephanie Jones that situate the ideas historically, philosophically, and politically. Together, the materials trace evolving engagements with ontological inquiry, difference, immanence, new empiricisms, refusal of method, and the conditions under which “the new” in research can emerge. Rather than prescribing a way to “do” post qualitative inquiry, the collection documents a generative discursive space in which concepts, problems, and philosophical inheritances are re-opened and re-read. For scholars, graduate students, and teachers of qualitative and post qualitative research, the book provides access to a significant moment in the development of PQI, along with multimodal media that preserve the lectures’ dialogic and affective force.

This book explores the gendered effects of devolution and its ramifications in terms of new institutionalism, social movement theory and ideas of social justice and political citizenship. The authors expand upon research from central and local government in Wales and situate it in a wider context to develop an innovative analytical approach that operates at the borders of sociology and political science. It contributes to debates about how political processes at different levels of government and within civil society are gendered and poses a challenge to masculinist political cultures by seeking to revitalise political citizenship in democratic societies.

It is 2022. We have lived through strange times of 'lockdowns' over the entire world, this being due to the pandemic of 2019-2021. It is still ongoing in various countries all over the world and it leaves, in its wake, fears and doubts, loss of hope and feelings of disconnection from others. As human beings, we need interaction to foster relationships, rebuild communities, using the variety of feelings that are within us. In many homes and workplaces, any negative atmosphere became magnified, enabling old and new hurts to grow. Abuse, whether emotional, mental, psychological, or physical, apparently showed a sharp increase. While working and living in the NOW, there are emotional releases to be made from the Past, which holds a key to our awakening and realisations in this Present time. It seems there are many people who repeatedly bully and hurt each other, sending family, friends, and colleagues into sad submission, satisfying their addictive urges to control the very lives they purport to love and care for. So Misguided... So MisjudgedThe Mental and Psychological health effects are having an even greater negative impact on people and children of all ages. Never has there been such a tsunami of fear and heartache. Let's stop this, by helping yourself out of suffering and control, this can benefit not only You but others around you. It can be a solitary journey to a more joyful Life but entirely possible with a little self-help and analysis. My aim is for this book to inspire you to improve your relationships with yourself and with others. One of our most traumatic reveals is to find that we are not comfortable in our own skin: - which may be attributable to a myriad of circumstances, lifestyles, and beliefs.
