This book mainly includes routing protocols exist in literature for MANETs, their disadvantage and advantage was also given. Reactive, proactive and secure MANET routing protocols existing in literature is discussed. Further, various attack that are targeting routing protocol of MANETs are studied. AODV fundamentals and its working is also given and possible attacks on it is also discussed. In this proposed work security is enhanced and AODV routing protocol performance plus encryption algorithm is used to secure for MANETs. All security requirements are fulfilled in our book without using key management scheme and certification authority (central) as this will lead to complex computation. The proposed method in book saves consumption of power of nodes, as it generates very less calculations overhead. Simulation package of NS2 is described in detail that is used further for implementation or experimental work.
