To the descendants of Joseph, to be kept hidden from the World until the Last Days: By the Power of YHVH, these Plates of Brass shall not perish, neither shall they be dimmed by time; but YHVH Elohim shall preserve these Words to go forth unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people from the mouths of those who are of the seed of Joseph; and even as Joseph fed Israel and kept them safe from famine in a strange land, these plates must be preserved that Israel may eat of the Word of God in the famine that shall be found the Last Days. To those charged to keep these records: keep them safe, keep them hidden until Fullness of Times; for in them are the manna to feed Israel, and in them are the coat of many colors preserved unto the seed of our father, Joseph, as given Him by his Father, Jacob; and in Israel is found the straight path to YHVH Elohim. Israel be blessed, for in YHVH is our salvation found, throughout all time and for all eternity; Amen.

To better understand the Latter Day Saint Movement, not merely one sect but the larger movement the Lord began with Joseph Smith Jr. and continued with his contemporaries, the men that both helped to begin and to encourage the movement forward, we must study out the core theologies of our faith from its infancy. This book has been created as a pocked guide of sorts for studying these theologies and doctrines. This small volume opens with what purports to be the oldest of all Latter Day Saint texts and scripture, the Book of the Law of the Lord. It should not be seen as definitive by any means, as God meets each of us where we are and identifies Himself/Herself/Themselves in a way that we can understand. That is to say that God meets us on our own level. It is our prayer that this book will endeavor to guide and teach Saints of all sects and denominations as we move ever forward towards oneness in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This work will help guide readers in preparing for and understanding the purpose of the Latter Day Saint or Mormon Endowments. These are not secret works of the occult, but rather sacred works of the Lord. They are not a light to be hidden under a bushel, but rather to be place upon a hill. It is our prayer that Latter Day Saints of all denominations may use these revelations, with the scriptures of their branches of the kingdom, to better understand the works of the Lord.
