I was born in New Jersey, in a little city called Burlington. In fact, I was not born in a hospital but in my grandmother's house on St. Mary's Street. Back then many babies were born with family around with sheets, water, etc., Transportation to a hospital was not a first priority, most people had large families and no cars. It was not unusual for a doctor to make home deliveries day or night. My mother was visiting her family, after all there were always three or four girls at home supporting. My grandmother, (who had raised 18 of her own children and 13 were girls) my mother was the number six girl. We lived on Green Street, just around the corner from grandma's house. I learned so much early in life just trying to be like my dad. My dad to me, could do anything. Growing up to me was a very slow process, because my dad would make sure we did not hurry through life, but at the same time learn well and remember our place, learning under his rules. This was great for me because my dad wanted to make sure we heard him well and have fun in everything. He really made sure I was a good and complete child. He reminded me that I should always be ready to teach my brothers and sisters the right way to do things, no shortcuts at all. If it required a team effort, I should and would know it way ahead of time. Jim Greene, Jr's Journey or 101 than I'm done. Volume 1 is about Home & Honoring Parents. From my youth, a personal journey through my life, completing with civilization, military, and my Lord God Almighty. Elder James R. Greene, Jr.

I am sitting here waiting for the file to save into a pdf with 432 Hz - Ambient Angelic Tones soothing my soul. I remember 20 years ago when my wife kicked me out of our bed... She said to go upstairs and sleep there. This I did not to cause a stir in our ending marriage. Deep in my spirit I knew I was out the door. I had sinned. I asked for forgiveness. I never felt any forgiveness. Still 20 years and I don't feel any forgiveness... From her. Back then all alone in that upstairs bedroom I was listening to Bridge and the one song that Father God used to sooth my soul and tell me that I was forgiven by His Eternal Love was the song, "Who Shall Dwell In My Sanctuary." I will never forget the peace that; over-whelming, soothed my soul. Today, 3 relationships later and with the best woman God could have given me to show me His Love... He has moved me Higher Up and Farther In; as C. S. Lewis wrote, to His Loving Presence in His Service of Prayer. Now, you may ask... Why Pray? It was a delight when I learned to fly. When I was a boy, I can remember looking up into the sky when a plane or helicopter would fly overhead. I can remember when one day I was with my Dad, we had gone to a vacant lot in the town where we lived and there we waited for a few minutes until a helicopter landed and a friend of my Dad got off and came to our car. I was just amazed how smoothly and effortlessly the helicopter landed and then took off. When I was in the United States Army Aviation School, we were assigned to an Instructor Pilot, who introduced us to our Helicopter or Airplane. The Instructor Pilot first took us out on a normal flight to demonstrate the smooth operation of our aircraft. While doing so... He was showing us that he knew what he was doing and that he could be trusted. He was also showing us that our aircraft was safe and could be trusted. All this was done in order to create a bonding experience. As we read JESUS PRAYER TEAM, we will see that not only did Jesus tell us to pray... He also showed us we could trust Him... And, we can trust our Prayers We can bond with Him Jesus said, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7 I truly believe God called me when I was eight years old. As I continued to grow, I went to Church and Sunday school. I learned about prayer and surely as a young lad... I prayed I later asked Jesus to save me in 1970 during the Vietnam War. Then in 1978... I attended a school that changed my life in regards to my prayer life. They gave us a plan to follow so we could give sixty minutes a day to prayer. I used this plan for I cannot remember how long. You will see that the plan they gave us is still; to this day, in the front of my Holy Bible. We used it even to teach to those in our Sunday School Class... I wonder how many use it today? It says, There's no weapon half so mighty as the intercessors bear, Nor a broader field of service than the ministry of prayer. My Commitment... Date was on my birthday... September 26, 1978. I committed; By God's grace, I shall endeavor to give 60 minutes to prayer daily. I Signed my name... Charles Lee Emerson. CHANGE THE WORLD SCHOOL OF PRAYER was Sponsored by World Literature Crusade. Box 1313, Studio City, California 91640. Notice there is a circle with twelve parts. Each part is to have five minutes devoted to the topic listed. Start with PRAISE spent 5 minutes praising God. Have you ever heard it said, "We all have books in our hearts?" Have you ever said, "I should write books about that " Have you ever heard it said, "A picture is worth a 1,000 words?" That's what this book is all about... Helping you... Yes, YOU That's what I said, "YOU." On Amazon when you "Search Books" for "The Village Carpenter Publishing House" you will find that we have published 250 books, at least that's what it says today. We have other books submitted that are not cleared for public reading just yet. But we find within our list of books... There is a most interesting book listed. It's, The Village Carpenter: The Classic Memoir of the Life of a Victorian Craftsman by Walter Rose. There also listed is a review called, "One of my very favorite books, August 2, 2012 By Kari A. Hultman, Lemoyne, PA United States. This review is from: The Village Carpenter: The Classic Memoir of the Life of a Victorian Craftsman. The Village Carpenter is a book that I wished would never end. The author writes about carpentry and working in his grandfather's shop in Victorian England, at a time when the carpenter was vital to the life of the village and whose duties encompassed a much broader range of skills and projects than what we think of as carpentry today. The village carpenter in the late 19th c. was responsible for building everything from windows & doors to coffins to fences & gates to furniture to buckets & washboards and more. He was a thread that tied the community together, often having to work on sight, gaining an intimate understanding of the villagers in whose homes he would work for weeks on end. Walter Rose eloquently recounts stories about the men who worked in the shop, their tools, their projects, and their interaction with the villagers. Here is an excerpt from his book: {As publisher of this book... Here are 2 examples we want you to Read... Re-Read... And Read it again} '"It is in the workshop and at the bench that an insight into the soul of wood craftsmanship can be truly gained. There are tools, there is the wood--rude planks, ungarnished, their surface scored with the saw. Between them, and without which each is useless, must come the soul and spirit of the designer and craftsman; the deft hands prompted by an alert mind; the knowledge attained only through years of study and service; the creative instinct and ability that will, by the correct use of the tools, transform the mere plank into a thing of usefulness and beauty--possibly a joy for ever."' {See how the words were crafted together... Just like a carpenter building a window or a washboard. Walter Rose started out just like YOU. The review continues...} The entire book is filled with memorable passages and woodworking wisdom that has since been forgotten but is still relevant. He reflects on the personality of wood and the connection between the carpenter and his tools--a connection so absolute, that the same tool in another woodworker's hands would not respond the same. It's a must-read for anyone who is passionate about woodworking or who would like to gain insight into the soul of a woodworker." We are honored to have '"The Village Carpenter: The Classic Memoir of the Life of a Victorian Craftsman by Walter Rose" listed with our over 250 books on Amazon. There is another author we want point out. John Steinbeck writes, "Alicia, I wish I could tell you about these pilots. They make me sick with envy. They ride their vehicles the way a man controls a fine, well-trained quarter horse. They weave along streambeds, rise like swallows to clear trees, they turn and twist and dip like swifts in the evening." {See too... How John Steinbeck writes the words and crafts them together... Just like a musician; as he puts it, playing their controls like music. John Steinbeck started out just like YOU.} I also started out just like you... Just like Walter Rose... Just like John Steinbeck... YOU can do it

Holy Bible New Testament & Psalms Soul Winner's Guide. Do you want to be a SOUL WINNER? Do you know Jesus told His Disciples to do it? Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:16-20. Now... Jesus is telling YOU the reader... To do it... He said, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30 The Holy Bible speaks of SOULS 78 times, 59 times Old Testament, 19 times New Testament. Did you know that the number 7 is God's Perfect number? That is the number of God. The number 8 is the number of New Beginnings Isn't it wonderful how He uses those two numbers together; as what we call a Golden Nugget, to tell us how important it is to WIN SOULS... How important it is to be a SOUL WINNER He uses the word SOUL 458 times in the Bible, 419 times Old Testament, 39 times New Testament. Check it out and as you do... He will plant into you the importance of being a SOUL WINNER. This is the best thing and the only thing you take to HEAVEN with you. YOU are His next SOUL WINNER... So, go for it... Be a SOUL WINNER In the first paragraph above it said, "but some doubted" Don't be a doubter... He will help YOU BE THE SOUL WINNER HE WANTS YOU TO BE Here is an easy way to be a SOUL WINNER... Take the person you are witnessing to... To The Holy Bible, to the book of Romans... Start at Romans 3:10, then go to Romans 3:23 & 24, on to Romans 5:8, and then Romans 5:12, next Romans 6:23, finish up with Romans 10:9-13, now turn to Revelation 3:20... Notice these verses will be high lited. Read the verse to them... Or ask them to read the verse... Remember... Always be in PRAYER... Pray for them as you are reading them the verses... Pray for them as they read the verses... Notice there are 6 high lited sections in Romans and 7 is in Revelation 3:20... After reading this verse... Ask them if they want to ask Jesus into their heart NOW? We will share with you a testimony of witnessing about salvation... This testimony starts with two men working together on a jobsite. One was a believer, the other was not. Day by day; as they work together, the one man would mention something about Jesus or about church or about family life and how it was to live a Christian life. Sometimes there would be disagreements about the things that were shared, other times there would be agreements about how things should be in a family of Christians. This work arrangement went on for quite a while. As the question got asked, "Do you want to accept Jesus as your Savior?" The answer was, "No." As was said, this went on for quite a while. One day at about 3 AM in the morning, there came a knock on the door of the believer. When opening the door, he saw the nonbeliever that he had been working with for quite a while, several years, as a matter of fact. When asked what he was doing there at 3 AM in the morning, the nonbeliever said, "I come to get saved." As the two of them set down on the sofa to discuss what the Bible says about salvation and asking Jesus to be your Savior the nonbeliever prayed to receive Jesus as his savior. Amen. Hallelujah. This testimony shows that persistence, persistence, persistence will indeed pay off. It may take many days, it may take many years, but God will answer prayer and people do get saved. Amen. Hallelujah. This testimonies is true because we lived it... And we give the Glory to God Amen. Hallelujah Remember... "Don't Be A Doubter," He will help YOU BE... THE SOUL WINNER HE WANTS YOU TO BE...

Life gets better and better... I know my God is real The old song goes, "He walks with me and He talked with me and He tells me I am His own and the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known." It is a personal God we serve and He treats each of us, as if we were His only consideration. The closer the walk, the more beautiful His creature becomes and the lovelier He becomes. You say, "Looking at the cross is not beautiful " No, it is not, but He chose to go to that cross for each one of us, so we might go to Heaven. Heaven is beautiful The Book of Revelation describes Heaven. The only way to Heaven is through the cross. There is no other way. In spite of all other religions' out there, there is no other way, none. Jesus is the only God who is still alive. All the other gods are not alive today. The Bible says, "Put no other gods before you " He is no respecter of person's. What He has done for me or others, He will do for you. If you were the only person on earth He would have died for you. He is no respecter of persons. Jesus died so mankind would be able to go to Heaven. Hell, is real too The Bible is full of that fact. He tells us in His Word that, it is a place where the worm dies not, it is a place of eternal fire. It is a place of eternal separation from Him and your family and friends. You are quite alone forever and ever. That's a long time. Life is short here on Earth. Don't put off asking the Lord for forgiveness of your sins. We have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. None are righteous, no not one. His death opened the door to Heaven for us. His Word says, "Knock and it shall be opened, seek and you shall find." Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:7-11 The more you seek Him the more real He will become to you. My prayer is that He will come into your heart today and become your Heavenly Father. This is the year of the redeemed. We need to allow Him to come into our land and we shall be redeemed. Break up the fallow ground. This is His permission to seek His face and go into that area of our life we have never given to God before. What is fallow ground? We need to realize all those things the devil has stolen in our lives, God restores. When I asked him if he really wanted to kill me, he said yes, right at that moment I did. I said, "Why didn't you? You had a gun loaded." Listen to what he said. And this is to the Glory of God. He said, "When I came around the trailer and saw you... You are real tall and pure white and it scared me and all I could do was run." I said, "You didn't see me, you saw the Angel of The Lord. I told you He would not allow you to harm me." My dad and first wife Urisi had five children, Emmalec, Victor, Manfred, Bearl and Wilma. Urisi died. Then he married my mom, Eloise Harshbarger. Then I was born October 14, 1935. Later my brother James was born January 30, 1937. We lived at Milton, West Virginia in Cable County, in the Old Rope Home place where we have a family cemetery. My grandparents and most of my Aunts and Uncles are buried there. And I will be someday. My daddy was a farmer and blacksmith. If the ground didn't grow it, we didn't have it. We had no car but daddy had a team of horses and a wagon. The very first thing I remember was a flood, probably the 1937 flood. It was so scary, we had gone to Huntington; do not know how we got there, to Aunt Latta's house. Don't know if we went to get her out or what. But the flood gates were closed and there was water everywhere, almost on her porch. I was on someone's shoulders. People say you couldn't remember, you were too young. But when something is so devastating, you can I remember winning a beauty contest 0-18 years, don't know how old I was, maybe five. I had two older half-brothers Manfred, Bearl in 3 Camps, then to the Army. Manfred in Alaska, Bearl a Sgt. in the Philippines, lost in the jungle 21 days. Then he was called to help clean up at Pearl Harbor. Now, I'm in first grade at Diehl School. All 12 grades. One school teacher, a potbellied stove in the middle of the room and a water cooler back in the corner. My dad always taught us to tell the truth, even if it hurt. Because if we didn't and he found out... And he would, we'd get a whipping for doing the thing and another one for lying, with a switch or leather belt. People today would say that's child abuse No, it has made me what I am today. Child abuse is letting the child watch TV all day and get out on streets and drink, smack, dope and you don't even know where they are. Oh, you say I don't want my child to go through what I did. It would do them good to go through what I did. You're just too lazy to be a parent and make them do right. If the school teacher or bus driver gave us a whipping, when we got home we would get another one. The school nurse would come to school and give everyone a shot. I would make little envelopes out of the manila paper we had at school for art. I would write to my brother Bearl and he always answered. Most of these five years at Diehl school we walked but we rode the bus home. My mommy was a tiny little woman and all of the kids on the bus would see her run down to the bus to give me a note of two or three things that she would need from Cramer's store, so I could ride the bus down and only have to walk back. Daddy worked on the WPA. Sometimes mom started not feeling good. In the sixth grade we were made to go to town to school (Central) then to high school in the seventh. Back then there was a mobile that came around and took chest x-rays. A lot of TB back then. Daddy, James mine came back okay, but mom's was bad. Sent her to Beckley, West Virginia to JB Sanitarium. This is really hard. No car. We always walked across these hills to get to church. Any church that was having a revival, we were there, even though we went to Aunt Ersa and Uncle Cephas' church. The old Tin church on Mason St. in Milton.
