"Were I a cat, my love, I'd leave each day a single dying mouse upon your bed; but, human, I must find another way, and honour you by leaving verse instead." This book collects together over a hundred short poems: sonnets, triolets, ballades, and villanelles. Reader comments: "It's happy, sad, funny, thought-provoking and occasionally groan-worthy." "Overflowing with beauty, sadness and joy." Thomas Thurman was born in 1975. Since then, he has pursued the written word down a succession of dark corners and up a number of electricity pylons. Along the way he has written computer games, run away to America, run away from America, and been invited to join rather a lot of church choirs. He hopes you enjoy this collection.
