Vitiligo, also known as leukoderma, is an acquired de-pigmentary disorder characterized by the appearance of white patches resulting from the loss of functional melanocytes and melanin from the skin with worldwide prevalence of approximately 0.1 to 8%. It most often affects the face, elbows and knees, hands and feet, and genitals and is more noticeable in darker-skinned people because of the contrast of white patches against dark skin. The exact etiopathophysiology of Vitiligo is not clearly known, but some main theories exist to explain it: the autoimmune hypothesis, the neural hypothesis, the self-destruct hypothesis (auto cytotoxic), biochemical, oxidative stress, melano-cytorrhagy, and decreased melanocyte survival hypotheses. different treatment modalities of vitiligo like steroidal treatment, chemo-phototherapy, vitamin D analogues, pseudo catalase, vitamin B12, surgical therapy and herbal treatments. Although, there are numerous medical and surgical interventions available to treat vitiligo, there is no study showed a definite treatment measure. Celem tego badania jest zmierzenie częstości występowania dysmenorrhea i ocena praktyki jego leczenia wśr d student w Uniwersytetu Sharda. To przekrojowe badanie zostalo przeprowadzone w okresie od maja do czerwca 2019 roku na Uniwersytecie Sharda w Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, Indie. Usystematyzowany kwestionariusz zostal opracowany w celu zebrania odpowiednich danych od grupy badawczej skladającej się z 320 studentek z Uniwersytetu Sharda. Dane zostaly przeanalizowane przy użyciu oprogramowania komputerowego Pakietu Statystycznego dla Nauk Spolecznych (SPSS) poprzez statystyki opisowe i testy statystyczne. W celu określenia związku pomiędzy r żnymi zmiennymi zastosowano test Chi-kwadratowy dla zmiennych kategorycznych oraz test t dla zmiennych ciąglych. Stwierdzono, że częstośc występowania dysmenorrheawere wynosila 70,1%.

BACKGROUND: Pharmacists play important professional roles in the healthcare sector in areas such as clinical Pharmacy service, drug development and research, academic, community Pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical industries and the public service. Variety of causes influence students' select of pharmacy as field of study including interest in science fields, wish to be paid a high salary, want to help people, need for employment and/or financial security, desire to have a admired profession, influence of certain individuals. OBJECTIVE: To Assess Factors Influencing Pharmacy Students' to elect Pharmacy field and their future career desire among Sharda University School of Pharmacy, U. P., and India. METHODS: A descriptive cross sectional study design using quantitative data collection was employed. Quantitative methods study using structured Self-administered questionnaire to assess factors influences pharmacy students' to elect pharmacy field and their future career desire. CONCLUSIONS: This assessment shown that the three main factors were influencing students' to elect Pharmacy. The factors were: educational, personal, and career-related goals.

The quality evaluation of the pharmaceutical products in every step of the production process is very important to ensure product quality, safety, efficacy, and bioavailability. The purpose of this research work was to assess the physico-chemical quality of four brands of paracetamol tablets by using official test parameters. About four brands paracetamol 500mg tablets were collected from local drug market in Greater Noida and the tablets were analyzed by different official quality control evaluation parameters such as weight uniformity test, thickness, hardness, friability, disintegration, drug release test, and drug content assay by using modern analytic techniques UV spectrophotometer as per IP specification limit. Based on the result of this study, all the selected brands were passed hardness, thickness, diameter, weight uniformity test and comply with the IP specification limit.
