A classic guide to polo that covers every aspect of the game. Topics include "Field, Ponies and Equipment," "Team Play," "Duties of 1, 2, 3, 4," "Use of the mallet" and much more, all presented in simplified but clear format. Originally published in 1911 by William Cameron Forbes, Governor General of the Philippines and founder of the Manila Polo Club, the book has been resurrected and revised by Sukey Forbes who marveled about her great-great uncle, "The cast of characters with whom Cam played or influenced reads like a Who's Who in turn of the century polo, seasoned with some big surprises such as Rudyard Kipling, General George Patton, and the famous El Trebol Argentine polo team."
