Have you ever asked yourself why you are on planet Earth? And what the ultimate purpose for your life might be? Well, Jack Canfield asked himself this very question and came up with a surprising answer--part of which included a vision revealing that he is part of a "Golden Motorcycle Gang"--a gang whose intent is to have fun, but also to make significant contributions to the well-being of humanity. During a joyful dinner many years ago in Santa Barbara, California, Jack told his friend William Gladstone about the Gang. Upon hearing this account, William had an epiphany that Jack's story held a powerful underlying truth not only explaining Jack's true purpose, but William's as well. For more than ten years, William encouraged Jack to write a book based on the story of the Gang, so they have now collaborated on this work to show you its relevance to this critical moment in the history of human civilization . . . and also to you, personally. As you read, you will be introduced to some of the extraordinary members of the Golden Motorcycle Gang, including visionary thinkers such as Barbara Marx Hubbard, the originator of the concept of Conscious Evolution. The mystery and adventure inherent in this book reveals that there is now the opportunity for all of us on planet Earth to make a quantum leap in real time toward choosing the actual course of our evolution. Along the way, we are meant to experience the joy that comes from recognizing who we really are. Perhaps, as you embark on Jack's journey along with him . . . you will find that you are also a member of the Golden Motorcycle Gang So get ready for the adventure of your life
Mental health is just as important as physical health. For generations, this was not accepted by the general public. To show signs of mental illness-whether depression, mania, PTSD, or another illness-was considered ill-advised with a stigma attached. Fortunately, this is no longer the case, but there are still great gaps in public perception as to what signs of mental illness merit further investigation, and in some cases, immediate action. This book is designed to specifically address this need. The basic test has been used by hundreds of thousands of readers to self-diagnose or provide an initial red flag concerning close friends and loved ones. The book is not intended to replace the need to consult psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and other health professionals but to alert you and those you love to the need to consult such professionals. In addition to the basic mental health test, my coauthor psychologist Nell Daly has added more than a dozen additional personality and mini mental health tests. Some of these tests are just fun to do and others will help you determine your personality traits, strengths, and weaknesses. By adding these tests, we wanted to further remove any stigma you might feel in sharing this book with others. With the first edition which was entitled How to Test Your Own Mental Health, we discovered that many readers were self-conscious, thinking their friends and family would immediately think they had mental health concerns. With the change of title and added tests, hopefully we will be able to reach an even larger audience, though the earlier editions did sell in excess of 250,000 copies. The book you have in your hands will help you and will help others. Read it, take the tests, and share your results as appropriate. During these stressful times, we can all benefit from greater awareness and knowledge related to mental health.
The universe is always knocking. Therein exists a deep, timeless, loving wisdom that is always present, here to show us how unconditionally loved and supported we really are. The question is, are we available to hear it? For Andrew DeGregorio, that knock was particularly loud, as it came in the form of a surfboard to the back of the head. This trying, near-death experience became a catalyst for him to look within and begin to see his life through a new lens. What started off as a journey to get well turned into an unexpected awakening and a continuous deepening into extraordinary territory that challenged the "norms" of his everyday reality. The Knock is an intimate glimpse into the true face of awakening, an unshrouded view of the unprecedented ride through excitement and fear, mystery, curiosity, and isolation, paralleling the intention to know one's True self. His story beautifully illustrates the profundity and simultaneous messiness of the coming together of human, soul, and Spirit. As the veils of illusion dropped away, Andrew quickly realized that the more well he became, the more out of balance the world around him seemed. Waking up in a world where insanity is accepted and pain is the standard, no longer felt like the way things had to be. A search for a new way of being ensued. What emerged was the discovery of an already present, intelligent, operating system that became an unstoppable force of loving guidance. This guidance offered "breadcrumbs from the universe" which consistently led to expansive experiences and a deepening sense of well-being. It lovingly guided him through an ongoing integration process of mind, body, and soul, naturally unfolding through the intelligent wisdom of the universe. He found that as his inner world shifted, his whole life rapidly transformed for the better. Relationships, finances, physical health effortlessly came into balance. Contrast to the work hard, no pain no gain ethic he'd lived by his whole life, life began to flow through him with a sense of ease as his capacity to lovingly step out of his own way grew. His story shows the practicalities and life-altering realizations that accompany an ever-expanding shift in identity. The Knock reveals that when we become available to life, life lives us into our fullest potential and guides us back home to love.
The Twelve is an extraordinary and unforgettable novel about a most unusual man. As a child, Max lives in a world of colors and numbers, not speaking until the age of six. As an adult, Max ventures on a journey of destiny to discover the secret behind the ancient Mayan prophecy about the "end of time," foretold to occur on December 21, 2012. When he is fifteen years old, Max has a near death experience during which he has a vision that reveals to him the names of twelve unique individuals. While Max cannot discern the significance of these twelve names, he is unable to shake the sense that they have deep meaning. Eight years pass before Max meets the first of the twelve. With this, Max's voyage of discovery begins, as he strives to uncover the identities and implications of "the twelve"-individuals he will meet during his journey towards truth, all of whom seem connected, and all of whom may hold the answer to what will happen at the exact moment the world may end. The novel takes the reader on a series of global adventures, culminating in a revelation of why and how Max and the twelve are destined to unite to discover the magnitude of the meaning of December 21, 2012. Only the twelve can provide the answers, as the fate of all humanity rests in the balance.
The Complete Master Key System builds on the classic work of Charles Haanel to teach contemporary audiences how to tap into their personal potential and manifest harmony, abundance, and fulfillment. Published in 1912, The Master Key System went on to influence Ernest Holmes, Napoleon Hill, and many others who sought to use mental power as a means of attaining success. In The Complete Master Key System, William Gladstone, Richard Greninger, and John Selby hark back to Charles Haanel's original text, and develop exercises that heighten readers' ability to implement Haanel's core principles. Their Daily Manifestation Sessions incorporate the most effective focusing methods used today and integrate ancient meditative techniques with new insights in cognitive psychology. The Complete Master Key System is packaged with Haanel's original Master Key System in the appendix and includes a foreword by Mark Victor Hansen and an afterword by Jack Canfield.
The year 2012 didn't mark the end of civilization as many had mistakenly predicted. Rather, it marked a turning point in human consciousness, a shift toward a more humanistic, less violent existence. But not if Arnold Wheeler can help it. Arnold is The Grand Light and Keeper of the Code of the Illuminati, which quietly and covertly control every major development on Earth. He is quite aware of the universal shift in consciousness predicted by the Mayans long ago. With this shift, humanity has the opportunity, for the first time, to reach its full potential. Except the Illuminati have other plans. William Gladstone, author of the bestselling The Twelve, takes readers on a roller coaster adventure that features George W. Bush, alternate earths, and the real meaning of the upcoming 26,000-year Mayan cycle. Part science-fiction, part philosophical exploration, The Power of Twelve will keep readers turning the pages, discovering the very nature of existence. The problems keep mounting. The clock keeps ticking. And by the end, readers will be wondering what is real, what is not, and how they can prepare their own lives for a world that is so rapidly changing.
