iPad-gest tztes mobiles Lernen (M-Learning) ist zu einem beliebten Thema in der Bildungsforschung geworden, und im Vereinigten K nigreich mangelt es derzeit an Ingenieurtalenten. Diese Fallstudie soll einen Beitrag zu dem derzeit sp rlichen Forschungsgebiet leisten, das die Nutzung des iPads mit der Ingenieurausbildung verbindet. Um dies zu erreichen, untersucht die Studie die Integration von iPad-basiertem M-Learning in ein kreatives Ingenieursmodul an einer Sekundarschule in England mit einer problemorientierten Lernmethode. Die Studie ergab, dass iPad-basiertes M-Learning sowohl philosophisch als auch praktisch innerhalb und au erhalb des Unterrichts mit der P dagogik des problembasierten Lernens vereinbar ist, die dem kreativen Ingenieursmodul zugrunde liegt. Die Integration des iPads in die problemorientierte CE-P dagogik f hrt zu einem neuen M-Learning-P dagogikmodell.

Este estudo de caso pretende contribuir para a rea de investiga o, atualmente escassa, que combina a utiliza o do iPad com o ensino da engenharia. Para tal, o estudo investiga a integra o do M-learning baseado no iPad num m dulo de engenharia criativa numa escola secund ria em Inglaterra com uma pedagogia de aprendizagem baseada em problemas. Este estudo concluiu que o M-learning baseado no iPad compat vel com a pedagogia de aprendizagem baseada em problemas subjacente ao m dulo de engenharia criativa, tanto a n vel filos fico como pr tico, dentro e fora da sala de aula. A integra o do iPad com a pedagogia de EC baseada em problemas estabelece um novo modelo de pedagogia de M-learning.

L'apprendimento mobile basato su iPad (M-learning) diventato un argomento popolare nella ricerca educativa, e attualmente nel Regno Unito c' una carenza di talenti ingegneristici. Questo caso di studio si propone di contribuire all'area di ricerca attualmente scarsa che combina l'uso dell'iPad con l'educazione ingegneristica. A tal fine, lo studio analizza l'integrazione del M-learning basato su iPad in un modulo di ingegneria creativa in una scuola secondaria inglese con una pedagogia di apprendimento basata sui problemi. Lo studio ha rilevato che l'M-learning basato su iPad compatibile con la pedagogia dell'apprendimento basato sui problemi alla base del modulo di ingegneria creativa, sia dal punto di vista filosofico che pratico, dentro e fuori la classe. L'integrazione dell'iPad con la pedagogia CE basata sui problemi crea un nuovo modello pedagogico di M-learning.

This book adopts a qualitative research methodology to explore novice teachers’ professional development (TPD) under the background of the New Curriculum Reform in mainland China. With a purposeful sampling strategy, in-depth, semi-structured interviews were employed to collect data from twelve novice primary school teachers. As the specific design of the qualitative method and research procedures have been demonstrated, this book could be reading material for courses such as Qualitative Research Methodology and would be beneficial for undergraduate and postgraduate students learning qualitative research. In addition, this book provides suggestions for pre-service and novice teachers. The study found that although TPD programs and better welfare are desirable, collegial support from seniors, internet resources and online courses, and self-reflection were more direct and effective in enhancing professional growth and reducing negative emotions that developed from challenges in classroom management, workload, and accountability. This book also suggests three directions for the future development of TPD to school leaders and policymakers. First, more training on classroom management and time management is helpful as poor classroom management and excessive workload were the causes of teacher burnout. Second, more school-level mentoring is wanted because it is considered more effective than the state and individual-level opportunities of TPD. Third, more development opportunities for teachers in rural areas are required to improve their professional competence and narrow their gap with their urban counterparts.
