The Grass on the Hill Grows Green: El pasto en la colina crece verde – hinnat ja saatavuus

In the introduction to my book, It Seems like Only Yesterday I write: "I have at last finished this, my tenth book, and I have to confess that wasn't always an easy task. I don't know why, but it often seemed that the more I wrote, the less I had down on paper. Fortunately, one day upon having finished chapter thirty-three, I was content and knew that I had completed my shortest book." Well, it's no longer my shortest book-this one is, and this one was easier to write because I was content when I'd finished only twenty-three chapters instead of thirty-three but not entirely so as I later added five more. I'll now say what I always say when I write the introduction to one of the bilingual books in this series: that I wrote it for fun, to save my experiences for posterity, and most importantly to improve my Spanish. It goes without saying that I would also hope that readers (if there are any) will enjoy this, my eleventh book. I gave It Seems like Only Yesterday to two friends and I was glad to learn that both of them had finished the book by the end of the week and that they said they liked the stories. I hope that they (and you) will like the stories in this book as well. Bueno, ya no es mi libro m s peque o; este lo es y este libro era m s f cil de escribir porque me sent contento al escribir el cap tulo veinticuatro en lugar del treinta y tres, pero tal vez no estuviera totalmente contento ya que m s tarde a ad cinco cap tulos. Dir lo que siempre digo al escribir la introducci n de un libro biling e en espa ol e ingl s de esta serie: que lo escrib para entretenerme, para guardar mis experiencias para la posteridad, y m s importante para mejorar mi espa ol. Se da por sentado que tambi n espero que a los lectores (si hay lectores) les guste este, mi libr n mero once. Regal Parece que fuera ayer a dos amigos y me alegr al enterarme de que a la semana siguiente los dos ya lo hab an le do y al o r que les gustaban las historias. Espero que a ellos (y a usted) tambi n les gusten las historias de este libro.
