Sybal and Tzarik set out on a quest to find a way to break the fate-binding tying Sharar and Tzarik's fate together. Their journey takes them across the map as they try to bargain with the gods themselves, but nothing seems to give them the answer they seek. Weakened by the malignant wound, Sharar cannot steep himself in the magic of the Mahit'Onomicon, afraid the power might overcome him. But he has a more immediate battle to fight. He seeks to strike out against Tarkan, manipulating the sultana into doing his bidding. Tarkan sits upon the ruby throne in Alika with an army of undead and risen alike. But now it is time for the final step. Sure of himself and his power, Tarkan travels to Xia to break open the Crypt and finish his long-overdue plan once and for all. In this thrilling conclusion, Sybal must rise to face her greatest challenge yet. For in a world balanced on the edge of oblivion, even immortality may not be enough to protect those she holds dear. The fate of the living rests in the hands of the dead, and the price of victory may be more than any of them can bear to pay.

"Haunted?" he asked." Yeah," Huck replied. "But not a building, or a chair, or creepy music box. Me. I'm haunted." High school twin brothers Mark and Huck Derringer host a small but successful ghost-hunting web series with their mutual best friend, Jasper. While Mark and Jasper are convinced the things they see go bump in the night are real, Huck argues fiercely against it, insisting what they capture is easily explained away. Because if it was real, that would mean the horrifying things he sees at the edge of his vision every day are real... After a night of ghost hunting and celebrating a milestone of views on their channel, a terrible accident turns the boys' lives into a real-life horror show. Forced with confronting things worse than ghosts and demons, Huck fights for his life and to break the chains that pull him deeper into a darkness filled with supernatural horrors.

"THERE MAY BE NO GHOSTS OR GHOULS HERE, BUT THERE ARE MONSTERS. IT'S OUR JOB TO STOP THEM." Fleeing Al'Myrah, Tzarik sails with Sybal as far away from Sharar as they can. Landing on the far eastern continent of Xia, they discover there are no Runers on Xia and a civil war is heating up between the traditionalists and those who believe it is time for Xia to join the ways of the modern world. A mysterious creed called Wushito culls the monsters without runes or the white blood. Revered or feared, Wushito exists to support the ruler of Xia--the one touched by the White Dragon. But with Runers ashore, their secrets may soon be brought to light and the traditions on which Xia is built will be tipped into chaos. Put in the middle, Tzarik and Sybal set events into motion they must see through to the end or risk unleashing a malevolent force into the world. However, a shadow from the past appears amidst their new struggle, complicating their sojourn and quest for sanctuary.

The endless road and life of a monster-hunting Runer has gone stale for Tzarik and death is the only alternative. Tired of risking his life for the prejudiced people of Al'Myrah, it's time to just let go. The only thing that stands in his way: A Runer cannot take his own life, breaking his oath to the dark magic that binds him to the hunt. When a warlord from the far east threatens her family, Sybal, a young diamond mine heiress with a lavish lifestyle, takes action to protect her family and estate. But when her crime is witnessed, she must stand trial for murder. To save her own life, Sybal calls for a trial by Runing-a dangerous and often fatal pact with unknown magic. Thrown together by law and dark magic oaths, Tzarik and Sybal find themselves entangled with an eldritch force when a lone necromancer hell-bent on devastation, rises up, and ravages the eastern continents. Tzarik must conquer his desire for his own demise and train the empathic Sybal to save the people from a risen death.

Tragic loss. Eternal love. Ancient magic. Brigit is dealing with the loss of her mother and brother while trying to run her mother's shop of magical oddities. She used to believe in magic and had hopes for a great future. When fate took her family away before she was ready, all of her belief in happiness and love died with them. When a mysterious man named Ildanach appears and is everything Brigit is not--happy, fun, adventurous, and extremely handsome--she feels her stable life of hiding being threatened as he calls her out into a vulnerable relationship. There is more to this man than meets the eye. He brings with him a life Brigit is not sure she believes in. One that doesn't even exist in her reality. Plagued by visions of past lives, Brigit's trust in a magicless existence is about to be shattered. Ildanach has been the fairy guardian for centuries. Every few lifetimes, he meets a woman who is the reincarnation of his love and together they can protect the earth. Ildanach thought he had found his love in this century, but she was killed by a rogue fairy from the underworld, taking his hope. Now he has met Brigit, a woman hell-bent on denying anything that she cannot touch in this reality. When he sees the spark of his love in her, he knows she's the one with whom he can stop the dark spirit for good. However, she is dead to the world of magic; too wrapped up in her trials and the darkness that mortal life has given her. The world is in danger as the lord from the underworld, Arawn, taints mortal souls in order to grow his army of the underworld and stop the guardian and the goddess once and for all. In a battle of life or death, Idlanach must save the mortal world before time runs out and Brigit must decide once and for all if she can believe in something as mysterious as magic.
