Dawid Bramwell

Wild, pagan, sacred Sussex. The glorious goblin-haunted landscape of Devil's Dyke, the demonic dragon at Knucker Hole, the magic circle of Chanctonbury Ring where you might encounter the Devil or the ghost known locally as the Midnight Druid and most famous of all, our iconic giant the Long Man of Wilmington. Gathered together in the last county to convert to Christianity, we invite you on a magical pilgrimage of spiritual discovery. To the untrained eye and less than an hour from London, the sweeping Sussex landscape appears tranquil and unassuming. This book reveals a county criss-crossed with mysterious 'lines of power' linking one sacred place to another - hidden gems that will make your head spin.
