"Wait a second, your actually going to get up on stage at tonight's welcome talent show and sing?" Bella asked, giving Halsey a surprised look. "I sure am." Halsey smiled at Bella. "I just think it's time for me to sing in front of an audience.""I've never heard you sing, Hals." Becky said, gently." Neither have we." Caroline, Andrea, and Kat said in unison." Not many people have." Bella confirmed. "The only ones that know and have heard her sing, are her family and myself." Bella explained to her and Halsey's four good friends and cabin mates." Something tells me that you are going to do great tonight and blow the counselors and campers away." Lauren, our wonderful and amazing counselor, said. "What song are you planning on singing tonight?""Zero by Imagine Dragons." Before anyone else could add their commentary, it was time for dinner to end and go to the talent show.

Ever since Cambrie and I were born, our parents would come to my family's beach house each year to celebrate Labor Day. Since Cambrie and I don't and never had school on Fridays, our families would come to Henley Beach on Friday and stay until Labor Day morning. Since Henley Beach is located twenty miles outside of Orlando, it makes for an awesome and easy getaway trip. As all of us continued to eat our food, I could not help but feel excited. After all, we were in Henley Beach, and about to have an awesome labor day weekend

Waiting outside of the ballroom to be welcomed into the Hyatt Regency Cypress ballroom that was filled with my parents and a plethora of my closest friends to celebrate my eighteenth birthday, I could not help but smile. Today had been an exceptionally good day. Not only had I received some awesome gifts, as well as gone to breakfast with Mom and Dad, but Mom and I had also enjoyed a spa morning/early afternoon. Afterwards, we had returned home to eat lunch, rest, and get showered, dressed, and ready for my big party tonight. Like I said, today has been an exceptionally good day. Before I could think any more about my wonderful day, the DJ was announcing my presence. Moments later, I smiled and made my way into the room that was filled with clapping and cheering people.

"Is it just me, or does it feel like this year flew by in a flash?" Zack wanted to know. "Don't get me wrong, I am beyond excited that today is the last day of school. It just feels so surreal, that's all."""I'm beyond excited about summer vacation, and no it is not just you who feels like this year went by fast." I replied. "I have that same feeling, too." As Zack drove us to Johnson, I thought about what he was saying. This year had definitely flown by fast One minute, we were walking through the doors of Johnson for our first day of our Junior year, and today we were saying goodbye to it for the summer. Like I said, this summer had flown by fast.

"Thank you so much for driving me to school this morning, Shane " I smiled, opening the passenger's side door of Shane's car. "It's truly my pleasure." Shane smiled back. Getting into the car and shutting the door, Shane asked, "Are you ready for an awesome day and year?""Definitely " I replied, sincerely. Two days ago, Shane, my secret love interest and one of my best friends, had called me. During the phone call, he had asked if he could take me to school today. Immediately, I had said yes After all, who was I to give up an opportunity to have some one on one time with Shane?

"Oh, sweetie, you look amazing " Mom smiled, as I made my way down stairs." You look like a princess, Princess." Dad smiled, giving me a kiss on the top of my head." Thanks, guys." I smiled, giving both of my parents a big hug. "What time is the limo getting here?""Ten minutes." Mom replied. "Before we board the limo, I think you should know that there is someone else who will be joining us in the limo and at the party.""They are actually in the study waiting for you." Dad smiled. "Okay." I smiled back, making my way to the study, and wondering what in the world was going on. As I opened the doors to the study, I gasped and clasped my hands over my mouth. Standing in the study, and looking quite handsome like always, was Ross.

Dear Journal, In just ten minutes, my annual Christmas party will commence, and I could not be more pumped Not only will there be great food and dancing, there will also be great people in attendance Moving on, let me tell you about my outfit for tonight. For tonight's shindig, I am wearing a long sleeve a-lined, knee length dark green dress with black flats, black, dainty, dangly chandelier earrings and a rhinestone headband. Just between us, I am hoping that a certain special someone will think that I look beautiful.-Tess

Ever since the summer before fifth grade, Zack and I have attended Camp Brynn for the entire month of June (Session one of Camp Brynn). It is a summer camp located two hours outside of Orlando. Through the years, Zack and I have made a plethora of good and genuine friends, all of whom we have kept in touch with over the years. Making my way to my cabin, I cannot help but feel genuinely happy and excited After all, Zack and I are back at camp for what will definitely be an awesome and amazing month

Dear Journal, Today is my sixteenth birthday, and it is going to be one like no other for more than one reason Reason one, I will be auditioning for the lead role of an upcoming show called "Stacey Henley." The show revolves around a girl's junior and senior years of high school, as well as her journey of following her dream of becoming a singer. Reason two, Due to the fact that the auditions are being held in L. A., my family and I are here until tomorrow. After the auditions, the six of us are going to celebrate my birthday by sight seeing, doing some shopping, eating out, going to Santa Monica Pier, etc. We are even going to get to see my favorite aunt and uncle that live here in L. A.(My family and I are staying with them while here in L. A.) Even though I am excited about what my birthday holds, I am focused on the audition this morning. Dear Journal, After a month and a half of touring, my best friends, Jack, Melanie, and I are on a break from today until Wednesday. Since last night was our concert in Orlando, today officially started the three day relaxing break that we all need. Moving on, let me tell you where we will be staying during our break. We will be staying at Jack, Melanie, and Isabe

Riding the waves with my family, my mind drifts. Sometime this afternoon, I am supposed to hear back from Elizabeth about if I got the part of Stacey Henley or not. With all of my heart, I am praying that I have been chosen for the lead part. If I am chosen for the role of Stacey Henley, I would be moving to Los Angeles the week after school ends, moving in with Aunt Olivia and Uncle Nate(My favorite aunt and uncle of all time), and leaving my family, best friends, and friends behind. Even though moving and saying goodbye would be one of the hardest things that I would ever have to do, it did not change the fact that I really want this part. After all, I knew deep down in my heart that I was meant to play it.

"I want to make a toast to our awesome and amazing sister, Celia." Marci, my younger sister, smiled, raising her glass. "We are so proud of you, and am so glad you are home for a visit." As my sisters and I raised our glasses, Marci said, "To Celia ""To Celia " My twin sisters, Gia and Carly, cheered, as all of us clinked our glasses together. After the Christmas Eve service had ended, Mom and Dad had given us some money to go out and enjoy a "sister" dinner. This was due to the fact that my parents knew that my sisters and I wanted time together since I had not been with them in seven months. After thanking Mom and Dad, my sisters and I had headed to Carly's car, got in, and headed to Lindsay's Caf . After all, it was our favorite restaurant in town.

Tonight is my last night in Henley Beach, and I am both excited and sad. While I am stoked about starting my new adventure, I am sad about leaving everyone behind. On a different note, I am going to get to say goodbye in a good way. Tonight is my farewell party, and my family, best friends and good friends will be in attendance. This party will give me a chance to be with everyone one last time before I leave. Without a doubt, I know that I am going to have a good time. However, I know that there is a possibility that a few tears will be shed.

Dear Journal, My first Christmas back home with my family has been an awesome and amazing one Not only did we have a nice breakfast and lunch, but we also opened presents. Some of the presents that I got included gift cards and clothes. Even though this morning was awesome and amazing, I have a feeling that tonight will turn out to be as equally amazing. Tonight is my best friend and secret love interest Nathan's Christmas party Since I have not seen my best friends and good friends since May, I am truly excited about seeing them tonight -C
