Groggily opening up my eyes, and waking up in my oh so comfortable bed, I have to question if I am asleep, and having a wonderful dream. In my dream, Max is here to celebrate Christmas with my family and me, and will be in attendance at my annual Christmas party. A little while later, it hits me that this is not a dream. In fact, this wonderful reality is as real as it gets

"I cannot believe that tonight is the last night of camp " Julia exclaimed. "This week has gone by so fast ""It sure has." Heather replied. "I'm going to miss you guys.""I'm going to miss you guys, too." Devan said, sincerely. As she, her counselor, and good friends/cabin mates put their arms around each other, and made their way to open mic night, "On a different note, are you guys going to get up on stage, and sing tonight?""No, what about you?: Giselle wanted to know." I will be singing a duet with Danny." Devan smiled, blushing a little." Oh my gosh, you are totally blushing " Heather exclaimed. "How long have you had feelings for him?" Before Devan could answer, she and the others were arriving at the activity center.

"Happy birthday, Diana " Devan cheered into the phone." Thank you, Dev " Diana exclaimed. "It is so great to hear from you ""Same here " Devan replied. "What are your plans for yours and Danny's big day?" "We are going to have lunch with Mom and Dad, then we have our party tonight. I wish you were here to celebrate with us, and not in Los Angeles.""I wish the same thing, too." Devan replied, not letting on that she was back in Dallas. Wanting to surprise the twins, Devan asked, "What time is the party tonight at your mansion?""The party starts at 6, and ends at 8." Diana replied. "On a different note, would you like to speak with Danny? I know that he would love to hear from you.""Of course ""Okay, let me go get him for you." As Diana went to go get Danny, Devan could not help but smile and feel excited. After all, she was going to give her best friends a surprise that they would never forget

Besides December, July is my other favorite month of the year. Not only is it my birthday month, but it is the month where I get a month long vacation from Los Angeles and filming movies and my show. Don't get me wrong, I love my career, plethora of good friends, living with my favorite aunt, etc. However it is not the same as being home with my parents and best friends. Moving on, my favorite month has finally arrived Right now, as we speak, I am on a plane home to Dallas, Texas. Starting tonight, I will be here from now until Thursday, August 1st. Truth be told, I am excited about seeing everyone, and what this summer will have to offer

"It is so great to see you, and have you hear for the week with us " Meredith exclaimed, taking a bite of her PB &J. "We miss you being in Dallas ""We sure do " Leona chimed. "How are things in Albuquerque and in the modeling world?""They are good, thanks." I replied. "Even though I like it in New Mexico, I liked living in Dallas more." This was very true. Even though I liked living in New Mexico, it did not compare to when I lived in Dallas. With this said, it made being at camp with my best friend and longtime good friends from Dallas that more special." On a different note, girl, have you seen Derek yet?" Meredith wanted to know. "He has been talking about you non-stop, and I know that he would love to see you ""That I would." A gentle, male voice said from behind me. Smiling, standing up from my seat, and turning around to face my best friend and secret love interest, I wrapped my arms around Derek. Immediately, he wrapped his arms around me tightly.

After Mom, Dad, and I had enjoyed an early birthday lunch, Mom had told me that she wanted to steal me away for the afternoon and have some mother/ daughter time. Due to the fact that I couldn't remember the last time that we had had that, as well as the fact that I had missed her greatly, and wanted the same thing, I had immediate-ly agreed Three hours later, we are fresh out of the spa (We received facials, massages, and mani/pedis), and heading to the mall to do some birthday shopping, and get our hair done As Mom and I make our way to the Mall, I cannot help but smile. After all, I cannot think of a better way to spend my birthday than this right here

I have been looking forward to my eighteenth birthday for months and now it is finally here For my birthday this year, I am visiting my parents, best friend, and our good for the weekend in my hometown of Orlando, Florida (I arrived this morning and will be going back on Sunday.). Even though I love living in L. A. with my amazing Aunt, and love filming my t.v. show, I also love being home with everyone that I love As the plane touches down at Orlando International Airport, I cannot help but feel excited After all, I am finally home

"Are you sure that you don't want to go tonight, girl?" Abbie asked. "A good distraction would possibly do you some good.""I appreciate where you are coming from, girl, and I love you for it." Alanna smiled. "However, I think that I am going to sit this one out." Ten days ago, Alanna's boyfriend (a fellow actor), Albert Giddings, her boyfriend of a year and a half, called it quits. Even though he claimed that it was due to the long distance, Alanna highly doubted that that was the reason. In her heart, Alanna believed that the breakup was due to the fact that Albert had fallen out of love with her. Moving on, let me tell you a little bit about the girl's day that Alanna and Abbie had planned for today. Not only were the girls getting their hair trimmed, they were also getting massages, facials, and mani/pedis. While Abbie was getting them to prep for tonight's Homecoming dance, Alanna was getting them to relax and recharge. After all, she wanted to take care of and treat herself.

As soon as Mom, Dad, and I had boarded our personal plane this afternoon, it had not been long until I would close my eyes and dream of the vacation that was to come. From tonight until Friday morning, my family and our lifelong best friends, the Hollidays, we would be spending some quality time together in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Resort. With this said, I am especially excited about seeing Kent, my best friend and longtime secret love interest. Due to the fact that my family and I have not seen the Hollidays in a while, we are looking forward to seeing them. Before I can dream anymore of the fun vacation that was about to take place, the pilot was announcing that we were touching down in the Bahamas

It is tradition that, on the final day of dance boot camp, the captain of the team hosts a sleepover for the girls of the dance team. Due to the fact that I am this year's captain, the sleepover is being held at my mansion this year Truth be told, I could not help but be more excited After all, the girls and I love each other and think of each other as family. Truth be told, it is a good situation

"It's so great to have you home, girl " Brie exclaimed, giving me a side hug. "You were truly missed this summer ""I missed you guys, too " I exclaimed, hugging Brie back. "Even though touring this summer was awesome and amazing, it does not compare to being home with everyone." This was very true Even though I loved touring and being on the road, it was nothing like being home with my parents, good friends, and best friend After all, they meant everything to me Speaking of my best friend and good friends, I am especially excited about tonight Tonight is my co-ed welcome back sleepover I have been looking forward to this for weeks, and now it is finally here As Brie and I prepare for tonight, I cannot help but smile. After all, tonight is going to be epic

"So, girl, tell me this," Michelle began. "Are the Gordon twins as cute and nice as they appear to be in movies and on T. V.?""They are cuter and nicer than that." Ivy gushed, blushing a little. "Charlie and Beckett are two of the nicest guys that you will ever meet.""I notice that you blush when you say their names." Michelle smiled. "Do you have a crush on them?""I am secretly in love with Beckett." Ivy confirmed. "Just like Charlie, he is tall, cute, genuine, kind, and a plethora of good things." For as long as Ivy could remember, the Gordons and her family have been good friends and spent the final two weeks in July at the Marano's extra large beach house in Anderson Cove, California. Not only did it give Ivy and her family time to spend with their longtime good friends, it also gave Ivy a chance to spend time with her good friend and secret love interest, Beckett. Truth be told, it was a good situation. This summer, however, the situation was going to be even better Ivy's lifelong best friend was along for the ride. With this said, Ivy was excited for her best friend After all, Michelle was going to be able to get to know and spend time with her celebrity crush, Charlie Gordon Before Ivy could think about this anymore, the plane was touching down at LAX.

"Ladies, come on downstairs " Mom called upstairs. "The Gordons are here "Immediately, Michelle and I got up from our beds, and hastily made our way downstairs After all, the Gordon's were waiting for us

At the same time that I made my way out of my hotel room to meet my parents and the Hollidays for breakfast, a tall, toned, and gorgeous guy mad his way out of the hotel room that was across from mine. Moments later, the guy turned around, smiled, and waved at me. Smiling and waving back, it took me a minute to realize that the guy was Kent. Moments later, he and I smiled, quickly made our way towards one another, and embraced ini a big hug "Happy birthday, Dusty " Kent exclaimed, hugging me tightly. "It is so great to see you ""You too " I smiled back. As we broke apart, I said, "You look great, by the way ""You look great, too " Kent replied. "Are you going down to have breakfast?""Yes. I think that both of our families are having breakfast together.""I think so, too " Kent replied. Offering his arm to me, Kent smiled and asked, "May I escort the beautiful birthday girl to breakfast?""Of course." I smiled and blushed, gently taking his arm.

Stepping out of the shower, and wrapping a towel around myself, I thought about what today had brought so far. While it had brought an amazing breakfast and lunch, and some amazing gifts (I received gift cards, clothes, and a beautiful long sleeved, a-line, knee length, red dress to wear to tonight's party. My parents also loved the gifts that I got them.), it had also brought Christmas carols and cookie baking. Most importantly, it had brought some much needed quality time with my parents. This was an awesome Christmas gift in itself As I continued to get dressed, I could not help but feel even more excited After all, I was about to see my best friends and good friends

"I can't believe that it has been three whole years since the last time that I was a camper at Lawrence Church Camp " Devan exclaimed, as she, the twins, and the twins parents made their way to camp. "I have truly missed it ""Well, it, as well as all of our plethora of longtime good camp friends, have missed you, too " Diana chimed. "Have you told any of them that you will be returning this week?""No, I left that little part out." Devan replied, sheepishly.
