The upcoming Toiletpaper wall calendar 2025 features photographs conceived by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari taken from their magazine Toiletpaper, an image-only publication devoted to the combination of the height of attractiveness with that of ugliness.
A bloodstained white rabbit crouching on pieces of meat; a proud-looking chicken encircled by mirrors; a hypnotic birdwatching installation: these are just some of the comical, alarming and provocative images that will keep you company in the colorful, hyper-saturated Toiletpaper Calendar for 2024, which is themed around the concept of imaginary zoos.

Toiletpaper is an artists’ magazine created and produced by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari and born out of a shared passion for images. The magazine contains no text. Each picture springs from an idea, often simple, and through a complex orchestration of people it becomes the materialization of the artists’ mental outbursts. Since the first issue, in June 2010, Toiletpaper has created a world that displays ambiguous narratives and a troubling imagination. It combines the vernacular of commercial photography with twisted narrative tableaux and surrealistic imagery. The result is a publication that is itself a work of art which, through its accessible form as a widely distributed magazine, challenges the limits of the contemporary art economy.

ToiletMartin PaperParr is a new, special edition of Toiletpaper published by Damiani. This unique edition celebrates a new suite of pictures presenting a back-to-back of images made in collaboration with Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari on the one side and Martin Parr on the other. The recipe is very tasty: the founders of Toiletpaper hosted Martin Parr as a special guest and asked him to form a dialogue with Toiletpaper images, coming back to them with a photograph from his archive for each image. The result is a rapid succession of images in which irony, subversion and provocation force the viewer to the impelling discovery of the next pair of images. And if you are not yet satiated by the end of this issue, you have only to start once more at the beginning.

Collectible scented sculptural candles by Maurizio Cattelan, Barbara Kruger and Bruce Weber Visionaire releases its 66th issue with a set of sculptures. Ritual comes in the form of sculptural scented candles created by three world-renowned artists and produced by International Flavors & Fragrances and is published in an edition of 200 copies. The artists are Maurizio Cattelan, Barbara Kruger and Bruce Weber. Maurizio Cattelan gave Visionaire a particular Italian plunger that was reproduced at full scale. The black wax captures the subtle wooden texture of the handle and the smooth rubber of the base. It smells of fresh roses created by Bruno Jovanovic of IFF. What better accessory for your bathroom sitting alongside your toilet paper and your Toilet Paper? Barbara Kruger transformed one of her iconic two-dimensional works into a sculpture that smells like marijuana, a scent developed by Laurent Le Guernec of IFF. The words "Buy Me I'll Change your Life" dramatically jut out of the facade. Bruce Weber embraced the latest in technology as he 3D-captured his current favorite male model Trevor Signorino. The 3D file was then transformed into an all-white sculptural portrait replete with facial features and muscle tone. Carlos Benaim of IFF created the scent of the beach on a hot summer day on the Jersey Shore where Signorino works selling ice cream.
