"god love death & other synonyms" deeply explores his own definitions and perceptions in a naked reflection of himself. He may just define something you didn't know you thought. Will you walk away with changed perception like our editor? Taking this title home is the only way to find out.

National Poetry Slam champ and educator Douglas Powell/Roscoe Burnems addresses oppression in a raw and unique way. The human experience is designed to evolve with each generation. We grow from the cocoons of our former selves to become better as a people. Oppression is blaze of destruction that attempts to halt that progression. It is through perseverance, love, and undying vigor that we emerge victorious. This process is unfortunately a never ending one. This book serves as a voice, a reminder to fight, and a glance into the personal experiences of the author as he gives his own experiences and captures the art of survival for the oppressed in America.
