One of the things that God expects to see manifested in us when we become born again Christians is to walk in forgiveness and also to walk in the agape kind of love - love in spite of what others do to us.

The reason why most of us Christians give up so easily is because we get offended and frustrated too easily. If as Christians we get offended and frustrated easily about almost everything, we will never finish what we begin. As you read this book it is my prayer that God will speak to you in the language of your understanding and that you will purpose to finish every project that you begin

"Elizabethan Sea Dogs" is a history of how England's fleet went from insignificant to ruling the seas and their activities in the New World from King Henry VIII's reign to the end of Queen Elizabeth's reign. The book contained some quotes from various sea journals of the explorers and quotes from some sea songs. Chapter 1 talked about the voyages of exploration of John Cabot and his family. Chapter 2 talked about how King Henry VIII strengthened England's naval power. Chapter 3 talked about William Hawkins (1530) and the life of a sailor at that time. Chapter 4 talked about what life was like under Queen Elizabeth (mainly the political, economic, and business practices). Chapter 5 talked about John Hawkins three voyages from 1562-1567. Chapter 6 talked about Francis Drake's treasure hunt (1564-1573). Chapter 7 talked about Francis Drake's sailing completely around the world (1577-1581). Chapter 8 talked about Francis Drake's sailing to New Spain to damage and plunder Spain's towns there (1582-1587). Chapter 9 talked about Francis Drake, etc., against the Spanish Armada (1588). Chapter 10 talked about Francis Drake's Lisbon Expedition (1589) and Richard Grenville's famous "the one and the fifty-three" battle (1591). Chapter 11 talked about Sir Walter Raleigh and England's various attempts to colonize North America (1577-1618; Sir Humprey Gilbert to James Smith). Chapter 12 talked about Drake's last voyage and death (1589-1596). The Appendix explained more about the development of the various types of ships used during this time period and how the navy had worked before then.

Over the years, I have learnt a lot about marriage and I believe that what I have shared in this book will bless all those who choose to read it. As you read this book, it is my prayer that the Lord will bless you richly. If you are already married, it is my prayer that the contents of this book will open your eyes to some truths, which will enhance your marriage. If you are yet to embark upon the institution of marriage, it is my prayer that you will find this book as a very useful preparatory material.

It is the aim of this book, among other things, to educate ourselves on how we could come out of every depressive phase that the devil will have us walk in. I have done some research into this area and I am grateful to all those who have taught me things I never knew before some of which I have included in this book to bless you.

It is my desire that any Christian or Minister who reads this booklet will make sure that they have at least one mentor in their life. Having a mentor in my life has helped me a lot. I pray that the content of this booklet is helpful to all my readers.

You and I need to have a plan for every area of our lives if we are to make it in this life and in the life to come

It is my prayer that you will read this book prayerfully and take from it all the words of wisdom that will help you see your visions and dreams come to pass.

In this book, you will find God at work divinely delivering my wife and I from the claws of the enemy. As you read this book, do continue to join us in thanking the Lord for a great job done by Him for us. If God was able to do this for us, He can and will do the same for you.

We are saved by grace through faith. We are however encouraged to have good works in the word of God. The Bible says we will be rewarded by our good works. In this book, I have highlighted some of the scriptures that will encourage us to pursue good works after we are saved.

I have put in this book most of what the Lord taught me about prayer. It is my prayer that as you read this book it will teach you more about prayer. With those of you who know all this already, it is my prayer that this book will serve as a reminder to you of the importance of prayer especially in the times in which we live. It is also my prayer that we will be a people who not only talk or read about prayer but a people who actually pray.
