The true test of Patience comes when we believe our rights have been violated or when someone lies about us or gossips about us. God wants us to endure persecution patiently. As we do that, our victory will be assured through him.

The Bible says that they who know their God shall do exploits. The Bible also says that they who know their God will do greater things than what Jesus did. It is going to take the favour of God over our lives to bring all these things to pass.

"But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" Matthew 5:44"If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink." Proverbs 25:21

It is my hope and prayer that after reading this book you will understand the importance of not only believing God but also obeying Him. It is also my prayer that the understanding you receive from this book about obedience will propel you into greater heights in your obedience of God.

When I told people about my intention of writing a book on death the expressions on their faces were enough to dissuade me from putting pen to paper. However, after much prayer and research, I knew it was right for me to bring this book into the public domain. It is my sincere belief that since death will come to us all one day, it is important that we know something about it; and be properly prepared for it. As you read this book, it is my prayer that it will enlighten you and enable you to be better prepared to meet death when it comes.

Following the successful publication of my book entitled "Get Wisdom," I have been prompted by the Lord to bring to you this book entitled "Get Wisdom 2." This book not only contains some more words of wisdom that will bless you, but I have also included in it some great teachings that will encourage you into serving God in Spirit and in truth. In the times in which we live, it is so easy to condemn oneself into disillusionment. In this book, I make it clear that God sees the best in each of us. I also make it clear that we have a great opportunity to serve God like we have never done before. All this will become possible if and only if we read the Word of God and apply what the Word of God expects of us. As we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God and avail ourselves for the master's use, we will live a fulfilled life and ultimately spend eternity with our God in heaven.

This delightful anecdotal collection of cameos around the world, told with wry humour and a gentle, sometimes quirky style slightly reminiscent of a bygone era, contains a mixture of description and observation, with a smattering of autobiographical incident. William Wood has lived in many places of the world, is well travelled and well written, with a keen sense of enjoyment of what he sees and experiences, and a talent for bringing that visually to the mind of his reader. The short, usually self-contained pieces make wonderful cameos both for those who do their reading in snatches, and those who will want to devour his stories in one sitting. William Wood has led a nomadic life and his friends and relatives are far flung. He now lives and writes in Sussex and when he can get away he likes visiting his children in France, Rutland and Cumbria, or his in-laws in Norway and Slovakia. The diaries he keeps on these visits occasionally give him local colour and ideas for his stories. If he ever makes money from his writing he intends visiting old haunts in Africa, India and Australia - or even pastures new. In addition to his Little Book of Pleasures, William writes journalistic articles. He has had stories on the BBC World Service, and contributed to a variety of magazines and anthologies. He has also always written poems; they are, he says, "something that has to be squeezed out like a boil to give me relief." At university William wrote and directed his own plays, and later worked with amateur groups in Norway. Most often he writes short stories and novels; his first remains unpublished (as, he says, all first novels should be). His first published book was No Time (Babash/Ryan, 2003). Set in South Sudan, it predicted the independence of the south nearly two decades in advance. His next novel, Passing Wind, was shortlisted for an Amazon prize.

Over the number of years that I have served the Lord, I have come to realise that the only way one could serve the Lord in Spirit and in Truth is by knowing the Word of God, and by applying the Word of God that we know, which is what I call wisdom. In this book I have quoted a number of words of wisdom. I aim to provoke you into thinking about each of these words of wisdom with a view to making the changes that God requires of you. In this book, I have also talked about the fact that we all have a Divine Purpose to fulfill whilst we live. It is my prayer that as you read this book, God will bring you a clearer understanding of why He allowed you to come on this earth. It is my prayer that we will all live our lives today knowing that "The ground that we walk on today will become our roof tomorrow". May the Lord help us all in our quest for wisdom, which the Bible says is the principal thing. In all your getting, GET WISDOM.

Over the number of years that I have been serving the Lord, I have come to learn a few things about how important it is to maintain the joy that the Lord offers us in Christ Jesus. There are a lot of Christians who are always walking in sadness without realising that there is a joy in Christ Jesus that they could have. Another thing that I have also learnt over the years is that a lot of people suffer from one form of depression or the other withoutknowing it. It is the aim of this book, among other things, to educate ourselves on how we could come out of every depressive phase that the devil will have us walk in. I have done some research into this area and I am grateful to all those who havetaught me things I never knew; some of which I have included in this book. Lastly, I will like you to know that God is never late. What God has said about you and me is what He will do. Waiting time is never wasted time.

The Passing of New France: A Chronicle of Montcalm is a classic Canadian history text by William Wood. 'War is the grave of the Montcalms.' No one can tell how old this famous saying is. Perhaps it is as old as France herself.
