"Mujeres y criados", el manuscrito in dito de Lope de Vega. El mes de enero de 2014, el joven fil logo investigador del grupo Prolope de la Universitat Aut noma de Barcelona (UAB) y profesor de la Universitat de Syracuse (EE. UU.) Alejandro Garc a Reidy hall una copia manuscrita de la comedia de Lope de Vega "Mujeres y criados" (1613-1614), que se conservaba en la Biblioteca Nacional de Espa a (BNE), pero se daba por perdida. La obra, que se desarrolla en Madrid, est protagonizada por dos hermanas, Violante y Luciana, y sus galantes, Clarid n y Teodoro, un camarero y un secretario del conde Pr spero, respectivamente, cuyos amores se ven comprometidos por la aparici n de otros dos pretendientes: el mismo conde, que desea a Luciana, y el rico don Pedro, que corteja a Violante con el benepl cito del padre de la dama. La presente edici n contiene exclusivamente el texto de dicha obra. Existe una edici n cr tica publicada por la Editorial Gredos, as como una edici n digital en formato pdf en la web de Prolope.
