As escolhas que os pais fazem em rela o s primeiras experi ncias educacionais dos seus filhos podem ter um impacto enorme no seu crescimento e desenvolvimento posterior. Infelizmente, nem todos os programas de educa o infantil est o comprometidos em servir o melhor interesse de cada crian a. Outros ainda podem ter o compromisso, mas carecem do conhecimento e das compet ncias necess rias para cumprir a sua miss o. imperativo que os pais se informem sobre como escolher a experi ncia educativa adequada para a primeira inf ncia dos seus filhos. Fui inspirada a escrever sobre o Programa Play 'n Learn do Eau Claire FRC depois de ter tido uma experi ncia t o positiva no programa com o meu primeiro filho, que na altura tinha 3 anos. Senti-me compelida a analisar a efic cia do programa, tanto para minha satisfa o pessoal quanto com a inten o de oferecer esse conhecimento a outros pais que poderiam se beneficiar do que o programa tem a oferecer. Meus dois filhos, Benjamin, de 10 anos, e Oliver, de 8, continuam a me inspirar diariamente a tentar tornar o mundo um lugar melhor... da maneira que for poss vel.

Niestety, nie wszystkie programy wczesnej edukacji są nastawione na dobro każdego dziecka. Inne mogą miec takie zobowiązanie, ale brakuje im wiedzy i umiejętności niezbędnych do realizacji swojej misji. Bardzo ważne jest, aby rodzice zdobyli wiedzę na temat tego, jak wybrac odpowiednią edukację wczesnoszkolną dla swojego dziecka. L'educazione della prima infanzia sempre stata una mia grande passione. Le scelte che i genitori fanno riguardo alle prime esperienze educative dei propri figli possono avere un impatto enorme sulla loro crescita e sul loro sviluppo futuro. Purtroppo, non tutti i programmi di educazione della prima infanzia si impegnano a garantire il massimo bene di ogni bambino. Altri ancora possono avere l'impegno, ma non dispongono delle conoscenze e delle competenze necessarie per portare a termine la loro missione. fondamentale che i genitori si informino su come scegliere l'esperienza educativa della prima infanzia pi adatta ai propri figli. Ho deciso di scrivere del programma Play 'n Learn del Centro risorse per le famiglie di Eau Claire dopo aver avuto un'esperienza molto positiva con il mio primo figlio, che all'epoca aveva 3 anni. Ho sentito il bisogno di analizzare l'efficacia del programma sia per mia soddisfazione personale, sia con l'intento di offrire queste conoscenze ad altri genitori che potrebbero trarre beneficio da ci che il programma ha da offrire. I miei due figli, Benjamin di 10 anni e Oliver di 8, continuano a ispirarmi ogni giorno a cercare di rendere il mondo un posto migliore... per quanto possibile.

L' ducation de la petite enfance a toujours t une passion pour moi. Les choix que font les parents concernant les premi res exp riences ducatives de leur(s) enfant(s) peuvent avoir un impact consid rable sur leur croissance et leur d veloppement ult rieurs. Malheureusement, tous les programmes d' ducation de la petite enfance ne s'engagent pas servir au mieux les int r ts de chaque enfant. D'autres encore ont peut- tre cette volont , mais ne disposent pas des connaissances et des comp tences n cessaires pour mener bien leur mission. Il est imp ratif que les parents s'informent sur la mani re de choisir la bonne exp rience ducative pour leur enfant en bas ge. J'ai t inspir e crire sur le programme Play 'n Learn du FRC d'Eau Claire apr s avoir v cu une exp rience tr s positive avec mon premier fils, alors g de 3 ans. Fr hkindliche Bildung war schon immer eine Leidenschaft von mir. Die Entscheidungen, die Eltern hinsichtlich der ersten Bildungserfahrungen ihrer Kinder treffen, k nnen einen enormen Einfluss auf deren sp tere Entwicklung haben. Leider sind nicht alle fr hkindlichen Bildungsprogramme darauf ausgerichtet, das Wohl jedes einzelnen Kindes in den Vordergrund zu stellen. Andere wiederum sind zwar engagiert, verf gen jedoch nicht ber die erforderlichen Kenntnisse und F higkeiten, um ihre Mission zu erf llen. Es ist daher unerl sslich, dass Eltern sich dar ber informieren, wie sie die richtige fr hkindliche Bildungserfahrung f r ihr Kind ausw hlen k nnen. Ich wurde dazu inspiriert, ber das "Play 'n Learn"-Programm des Familienressourcenzentrums in Eau Claire zu schreiben, nachdem ich mit meinem ersten Sohn, der damals 3 Jahre alt war, so positive Erfahrungen mit dem Programm gemacht hatte. Ich f hlte mich dazu verpflichtet, die Wirksamkeit des Programms sowohl zu meiner eigenen Zufriedenheit als auch mit der Absicht zu analysieren, dieses Wissen anderen Eltern weiterzugeben, die von dem Programm profitieren k nnten. Meine beiden S hne Benjamin (10) und Oliver (8) inspirieren mich t glich dazu, die Welt zu einem besseren Ort zu machen ... so gut es eben geht.

Architecture in Effect is a substantial collection of essays emerging from the Swedish research environment of the same name. While it takes its point of departure from within the specific context that is Sweden, it includes contributions from authors based in the Nordic context, in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. A central premise of the collected research is that the built environment and societal norms are co-constitutive and that architecture as a discipline and as a professional practice plays a fundamental role in this relationship. Contemporary political and environmental conditions place specific demands on society and on the everyday life of individuals. There persists, as such, an obligation for actors within the discipline of architecture to contribute to a rethinking of the situated knowledges within architecture by engaging in trans-, cross-, and inter-disciplinary studies. An industrial city on the outskirts of Stockholm, Södertälje is the global capital of the Syriac Orthodox Christian diaspora, an ethnic and religious minority group fleeing persecution and discrimination in the Middle East. Since the 1960s, this Syriac community has transformed the standardized welfare state spaces of the citys neighborhoods into its own "Mesopotälje", defined by houses with Mediterranean and other international influences, a major soccer stadium, and massive churches and social clubs. Such projects have challenged principles of Swedish utopian architecture and planning that explicitly emphasized the erasure of difference. In The Construction of Equality, Jennifer Mack shows how Syriac-instigated architectural projects and spatial practices have altered the citys built environment from below,offering a fresh perspective on segregation in the European modernist suburbs. Combining architectural, urban, and ethnographic tools through archival research, site work, participant observation (among residents, designers, and planners), and interviews, Mack provides a unique take on urban development, social change, and the immigrant experience in Europe over a fifty-year period. Her book shows how the transformation of space at the urban scale-the creation and evolution of commercial and social districts, for example-operates through the slow accumulation of architectural projects. As Mack demonstrates, these developments are not merely the result of the grassroots social practices usually attributed to immigrants but instead are officially approved through dialogues between residents and design professionals: accredited architects, urban planners, and civic bureaucrats. Mack attends to the tensions between the "enclavization" practices of a historically persecuted minority group, the integration policies of the Swedish welfare state and its planners, and European nativism.
